The march was written and composed in 1917 for the Finnish Jaeger Battalion. So, it is a correct name. Though we all know it as "Jääkärimarssi", or "Jaeger march".

The is the March of the 27 Prussian "Jägerbattalion" that where trained in Hochenlockstedt, Schleswihg Holstein..

@@lappilappland3708, yes, and later it has been the march of the Jägerbattalion of Kymi, which was my unit, when I served in the Finnish army in 1980. I have marched many times with accompaniment of this march. So I can agree with many commentatores of this site, that the tempo of this performance was a bit too fast.
