NEW FACEBOOK LEAD AD CAMPAIGN TUTORIAL FOR 2021: ruclips.net/video/8pQM67NlIVA/видео.html 👈💪
I love all your videos, in only a week I learn more than in pay courses :D
Great to hear!
The best content on YT thanks again brother
I appreciate that!
So informative, thank you.
What is the best way to run a lead generation campaign for a car dealer who has no website, they only use FB and IG ?
Would you recommend broad targeting ONLY for lead ads or for all types of ads?
No you can go broad with conversion campaigns, app installs, etc.
Thanks Ben. I have a question, how long should we run the ads until Facebook can optimise our audience by itself? And how do we know if it’s already optimised..?
Great video Ben - really useful even for myself who's just starting out with a Digital company.
Thanks Ben
Basic 101 stuff, but good content for newbies.
Hi Ben, again a very valuable video! Setting up a ad as we speak for my first client. 1 things stays a bit unclear to me. In the part 'Optimization & Delivery' I don't have the option to choose between lowest cost en target cost? It says cost management or something like that? do i need to fill this in or what's the purpose of this segment?
What about if they sign Friday evening and you won't be in office till Monday morning? (If doing this for a dentist)
Also, can you track the calls form "Call Now"?...any software?
Hi Ben, thank you for video.
Could you please give some advice ad strategies for web design business?
Sure, I'd recommend you check this out: event.webinarjam.com/register/1/lx4z0iy
Hi 👋🏻 I want to start my first facebook campaign. I run online shop with meal recipes (short, cheap, 5-meal ebooks) especially for active people. I was thinking about starting 6 campaignes (3 for Facebook, 3 for Instagram) with 3 groups each (they differ with age, but sex and interests are the same). I was thinking about starting these campaignes with purpose Traffic (Leads Ads) to collect leads with free ebook and then do remarketing. What do you think about this idea? Maybe better option is to direct traffic to the landing page? Maybe it would be better to choose convertions? Thanks for the answer and have a good day 👌🏻
posted a year ago, yet it says 2020? doesn’t make sense to me!
that's an old marketers thing, everyone needs to be in a loop haha.
Video is good , but kindly tell about privacy policy , kindly suggest some default template to quickly put into website. Thanks
I don't have any I'm afraid. You'll have to search around for that.
Thanks for imparting of knowledge for the general benefit.
You're very welcome :)
Hi, Nice video on lead ads. Could you please tell us where we can access the data generated by the lead Form?
Sure, you can access the data under page settings :)
Great Video Ben Heath Thanks
My pleasure!
Hello! Ben, I would like to know what if the client doesn't have a website , how do they manage the privacy policy in that case?
I would strongly recommend that you create one - if you try and get around this, Facebook can disable the ad account.
If your client has a Google Business Listing you can make a free site through there.
@@AncientHunter what if he creates privacy policy, then have google docs prepared? and I insert the link under privacy policy URL box during AD set
Hi Ben, is it possible to add a ticketing url in the leads campaign so our customers can directly pay online and so that we have the confirmed no. Of headcounts for the workshop we have to offer? Looking forward to your reply.
You can link to an external site on the thank you page people are taken to after they submit your lead form.
But if you want people to purchase a ticket, I would use a conversion campaign instead.
Useful information in one video, thumbs up! Which is the best campaign objective for a roofing company that does not have a website, it makes sales offline, kindly let me know your advise on this kindly
Hi Joseph, thanks a lot. Without a website I would use lead generation or messages depending on what your introductory offer is.
Hi, thanks for the good video. For the privacy policy, If a new startup freelancer does not have a website, obviously there would not be a privacy policy link. So how should they go about this?
In that case I would recommend creating a very simple website or landing page with a privacy policy link. That doesn't take very long and is well worth doing.
Your videos are really helpful! Thank you!
Thanks Heather
Ben I love your tips. They're very useful and letting me to save fortune and I can deliver massive results to my customers 😎👍 cheers Man🙏💪
That's awesome Lukasz, glad to hear it.
Hi Ben, is there any way to auto pull what they fill in FB lead form and populate to the landing page form (When they click Visit Website)?
I don't think so I'm afraid.
My fear about leaving targeting open is that logically I feel the budget has to go up with it as well. So if I leave targeting open, and land on 10 million people, wouldn't my budget have to be far higher than if I targeted 350,000? Basically, I'm a personal trainer and virtual training is now more popular than ever so I can advertise to any english speaking country. I put in some parameters but the audiences are still pretty big (around 3million to 10million). It's tempting to lower the audience on purpose so that my tiny budget of $15/day doesn't get spread super thin. Is this just folly? Or am I on to something?
Leadgneration is also possible on Instagram Stories or ?
Yes I believe so
So Ben.. This is really cool. So I don't need to create a landing page to start advertising for Leads. I can just use Facebooks Lead Form. I think the only drawback is that I install a facebook pixel in it? Sorry if this sounds redundant.
Hi Jason, yes that's right - with lead ads you don't need a landing page. You don't need to install the Facebook Pixel either - Facebook handles all of that for you with lead ads.
Ben Heath man that’s awesome! I just added my privacy policy to my website as well like you said. I was able to snag one from spotify’s free privacy policy generator. Thanks again for you all your help and training. Launching my first lead ad today and so exciting bro bro!
@@saykuus you are very welcome - best of luck with it!
Thanks a lot. I will let you know how this works out for us!
Awesome :)
Thanks for the video.. i have learned a lot on facebook leads . How can i collect the data via google sheets and have an autoresponder send them email after sign up? if you can do a video of it i will really appreciate
Glad to hear it :)
You'll need to set up a CRM - I'll add that video topic to the to-do list.
Hi Ben, great content as usual! I recently watched your video 'How to structure your Facebook ad campaigns the right way' and you advised using one campaign with 3-5 ad sets with CBO turned, is there a reason you haven't advised turning on CBO for this lead campaign?
Hi Ed, great question and I would now advise that you turn CBO on :)
@@BenHeath Great! Thanks for clarifying.
Hi Ben! thanks so so much for this video. do you have a video on how to work out lead generation cost and budget?

Yes I can finally make an advert for my new brand of toilet roll! Thanks so much Ben

How many leads for 200 selling cable and wifi?
Hey Ben! I often hear advertisers not putting Instagram and Facebook placements together and doing them separately because of Instagram's different algorithm. What is your opinion? Thanks
Hi Daniele, you can if you want but I don't think it's necessary. Facebook is more than smart enough to navigate those issues and if you separate the two audiences into separate campaigns they could compete with each other.
@@BenHeath yes i never did separate them, but i keep hearing it from people so thought to ask :)
In facebook we trust then! :D
Thanks again
@@danielezabrini9857 no problem. Yes that's a good way of putting things :)
Does a bigger audience in ad sets still works on 2020?
Oh yes :)
Hi Ben, thanks very much for the value. I have a question. Is it good to start directly with lead gen ads, or we need to warm the audience first, with some other types of ads? For example video view, and retargeting the 75% viewers with lead Gen?
Great question. You don't need to warm people up most of the time but it depends what your introductory offer is?
Hi Ben, thank you for sharing the detailed instruction on creating the lead generation campaign. My questions is regarding the budget. Is it possible to run this lead generation campaign and to be charged on a CPC basis?
You are very welcome Rustam.
I'm not sure if that is possible. It won't make any difference to how you pay though. Facebook always charges on a per impression basis and converts the cost to whatever you select.
Do you use this method to then create a lla? I can only image capturing these emails addresses to so powerful
Hi Scott, yes you can create lookalikes from people that respond to your lead ads and we often do - your cost per lead will likely decrease when you do so.
What's the best number of leads is needed to create lla for 30k town business needs 5-10 sales per month. Car Dealership
@@CARADMASTERS when it comes to creating lookalike audiences, the larger the source audience is the better
love what you do , do you think using a landing page from mailchimp iis better then the facebook sittings you showed us or not ?
Thanks a lot :)
For lead ad campaigns I would use Facebook's set up.
Hi Ben. I have a question. I am targeting for gym & fitness niche business owner. May I know when I’m doing targeting for the location, is it ok if I enter the name of the gym and fitness centre?
The name of the gym almost certainly won't be a targeting option. Plus that would make your target audience way too small.
oh my. I’ve just published the ads. Perhaps just think another keyword for the location when doing retargeting. btw, thank you Ben. ❤️
Hi sir. Thank you for the video. I have a question. In the video you mentioned at the end there would be a link to retrieve the leads? I do not see how to do that. Is there a software that we could link to the Facebook leads that would notify us when a lead comes in so we could follow up with that lead? Any advice on that would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Sam, you can do both. You can connect a CRM to your Facebook account and have the leads automatically imported. You can also access them manually under Publishing tools (located at the top of your Facebook Page). I don't have a video on how to connect a CRM but Facebook have good support docs on it.
@@BenHeath Awesome! thank you for that information, sir! I appreciate it
Is there a CRM that you recommend?
@@sampalumbo8599 any of the main ones that Facebook integrate with should work fine :)
@@BenHeath Thank you, sir!
Great video, Ben. Just one thing.......for location settings, my units are in km and only go as low as 17km. How can I change to miles and get as low as, say, 5 miles radius? Thanks in advance.
Hi Matthew, if you drop a pin on your location on the map, then Facebook will let you go down to just 1km
Thanks Ben for this video. Please, what daily budget do you advice in lead generation?
No problem - that depends on your budget. You can start with £5 per day or £5,000 - up to you and your business goals.
This video should help: ruclips.net/video/mnvEB2qEJis/видео.html
Great video Ben! What if the client i am running the Ad for does not have a privacy policy link to add or doesnt have a website at all?
Thanks Daniele, that's a tricky situation that doesn't have an easy fix. You will need a privacy policy to follow Facebook's Advertising polices and if you try and put a different URL into that field there's a chance your ads could be disabled and even your ad account banned. I would tell your client they need one - they don't need an entire website - a pdf will work - but they should have a privacy policy.
@@BenHeath OK, thanks for the quick response!
@@danielezabrini9857 no problem at all - best of luck with it :)
@@BenHeath Hey Ben, last question, i promise: for a landing page, would you advise Clickfunnels over a wordpress made one? I am very familiar with wordpress and never used Clickfunnels, but i have the feeling that Clickfunnels would just be easier for automation purposes. What would you advise? Thanks
@@danielezabrini9857 in your situation I would use ClickFunnels for the reason you mentioned. I'm a big fan of theirs and I think you will find things easier going forward.
my cost per lead is at $22 this seems very expensive is there a way I could lower the cost per lead?
Hi Linden, that depends what a lead is for you? For some offers that would be a great price. Reducing the cost comes down to a lot of different factors - the offer, targeting, ad creative, etc.
Do u get charged per people signing up? or for how many people its showing the ad too
Second one :)
Hi, thanks for this video. Can you tell me why you chose to fill the form on Facebook to capture leads instead of sending them toa booking form or to an email autoresponder? Many thanks
Hi Ruth, that's a great question. It really depends on what you are looking to achieve. If you want as many leads as possible then lead ads will nearly always deliver that. If you are more concerned with lead quality then you will want to use a conversions campaign and generate leads via your website as you suggested.
@@BenHeath Thanks Ben, I did a Facebook optin yesterday and no one left their phone number, so I may change it.
@@ruthy2027 no problem - one piece of advice is to make sure you give things enough time before you assess the results - one day is rarely long enough.
@@BenHeath Your right there, thanks.
Hey Ben,
Thanks for the video.
Can you please suggest some good measures(ads strategy) for Dental Clinics?
Hi Mansi, Facebook lead ads is what we use for dentists. You'll have to use creative offers though. Free teeth whitening, 50% off one dental implant, etc.
Could you please create a video for the "Leads Ads" analytics in Facebook and how to connect to a CRM and reviewing audience data?.
Hi Sree, I'll add that to the to-do list :)
@@BenHeath Thanks!
This video has a lot of useful content, thank you!!

Is it normal for 2 or 3 usd to get a weight loss US lead ?
That depends what you are advertising. Some offers will generate a lower lead cost, but that sounds like a great cost for most lead ad campaigns.
@@BenHeath then how can we earn money for a US weight loss lead costing 3usd
@@BenHeath So will you suggest using conversion ads or lead ads to get weight loss US leads?
@@makehimobsessedwithyou6412 that depends what you are looking to achieve. Conversion ads will be more expensive but higher quality. Lead ads are the opposite.
@@BenHeath It is already 3 usd for one US weight loss lead in lead ad then 5 usd for one US weight loss lead in conversion ads?So headache about this!
Hey Ben (or anyone else that can help please)- Thanks for the tutorial, did my first ad, loaded it no problem, all scheduled. Did a test form submission, went and changed an image or two, now get this error: "Target rule label must refer to asset label Target rule label with name: placement_asset_f2a4fe585919724_1612984621640 doesn't refer to any of the asset labels. Please fix it by removing all ad creatives". Does anyone have a fix for this please? I have no idea what this is or how to rectify this. Ad won't run until this is resolved.
Hi Ben, what a superb video. I followed all your instructions and was nearly successful. I got stuck at the privacy policy section. I do not have a website and I wasn’t able to provide a url link for my term and conditions. Is there a way to advertise on Facebook without having a url link?
Thanks a lot Roger - you'll need a privacy policy I'm afraid, you could simply have a one page site that includes it but I don't know another way around that.
Hi Ben, I went ahead and got a free website with wix and used the link from my website. I followed all your step by step set up and bingo !!!! Lol. Ad has been up for 24 hrs and listed below are my figures.
Impressions: 683
Reach: 594
Link Clicks: 9
Leads: 4
Cost Per Lead: $6.81
Daily Budget Set : $20.00 per day.
The question is how can I increase the number of leads, is it as simple as increasing my daily budget?
Hey Ben. I have a question about automatic placements. Some placements are 4:5 or portrait or landscape. I'm concerned with how facebook will handle the cropping or scaling of my ad creative. I'm graphic designer and don't creating a custom version per placement. Would you still recommend automatic placement in my case. I will be generating leads for my design firm.
Hi Jason, I would still use automatic placements. You don't need to create something different for each placement - just make sure that is looks good on all the ones you'll use. For example, a square image is going to work in just about all of them.
@@BenHeath ok. thx Ben. What about FB stories and IG stories. Those are Portrait Aspect ratios.
Ben Heath Hey Ben. I did what you said about using automatic placement and using a open target strategy. I noticed how Facebook is so smart that it picked the right interest for me. For instance when I look at the ad creative inside the ads manager app.. if you look towards the bottom, you can see what interest Facebook picked for
Me.. the interest it picked for me are: small business, creative entrepreneurship, startup company, and entrepreneurship. It’s crazy how Facebook figured it all out without me targeting an interest.
@@saykuus awesome - yes Facebook has an enormous amount of data it can use to work out exactly who should receive your ads.
@@saykuus no problem. They are but you can use square creative for them and we do so often. Sometimes square creative actually outperforms portrait creative on those placements.

Hi Peter, absolutley. We have used this campaign type for all 3 of those markets.
Hello Ben, great video, question: why don't you use as target conversion:purchase ? Thanks
Thanks Amos - we do use the conversion objective and optimise for purchases when we're advertising an ecommerce business. But when we want to generate leads, we'll use the lead generation objective as you can see in this video - or the conversions objective and optimise for leads.

You are very welcome. If you have a budget of more than $3k per month, we can :)
Once i create my lead gen ad how do i track my leads? as you can't put a pixel on a ad
Good question, but you don't need to pixel to track leads - as they are generated on Facebook, they'll do that for automatically. Under results you'll see how many leads you've generated.
you can track your leads the same way you do the tracking in traffic ad..
But if you are a newbie in this, then respond to me so I can explain better
What should I expect in return from a lead ad with an ad budget of 100$
That completely depends on what are advertising. For luxury yachts you'd be very lucky to get 1 lead. If you are giving away something for free - probably 100+

Hi, yes I would test a Facebook lead ad campaign with a client like that. If the local population isn't very big then I would just narrow the targeting based on age.
