Wow Jordan, I love that you show so many of these lesser-visited sites. I've never seen this one, very cool and appreciated. I can tell you guys are very into snorkeling. I once was like you, seeking out coral and rocks, but perhaps lost a lot of my enthusiasm over the years after stepping on one too many spikey sea urchins or cutting my foot one too many times haha. Now low-stress sandy beaches and casual swimming are my preferences albeit far less adventurous. I'm very curious how you would compare your Exuma trip with this one since these islands are not too far from one another. Turks & Caicos are the last and easternmost islands of the Bahama archipelago (and were even officially part of the Bahamas until 1848), so they essentially are part of the Bahamas chain (at least geologically). I actually overall prefer Great/Little Exuma over Provo...though both places have obviously their special qualities. For a pure swimming (non-snorkel) beach experience, with more uninterrupted soft sand, less milky water, fewer broken chunks of coral on many of the beach floors, and much less tourism and development, I think I still prefer the Exumas. Places like Moriah Harbour Cay (the best swimming beaches imaginable!) and Tropic of Cancer Beach on a sunny day were so clear, clean, brilliant, soft, gentle, quiet (no blasted jet skis), unpopulated, and totally unreal. Thank you again. Very enjoyable series.
Thanks! Yes we love snorkeling. We want to get SCUBA certified, but it's hard to beat bringing our own snorkeling gear and getting into the water to explore anywhere we go at a moments notice. I didn't know that Turks and Caicos was part of the Bahamas in the 1800s. If I was just comparing Provo to Great and Little Exuma I would choose Great andLittle Exuma for sure, but we also went to North and Middle Caicos. These felt like undiscovered gems with hardly any people in sight. Cedar Point was amazing. Right now I would say it's a tie. I just can't decide because both are so amazing!
@@JordanOutside I love hearing other people's insights and travel opinions. Thank you. Oh, and Cedar Point looks incredible- I hope you have a video on it. Thanks for the stellar tip and have a great week!
@@mr.k5865 Thanks so much. I have 3 more videos from Providenciales and then I'll start posting North and Middle Caicos. Yes, I have some amazing footage of Cedar Point. I hope you have a great week too.
Beautiful beach
Thank you, I totally agree 😃
That was a good beach for snorkeling.
Such a fun place to explore and snorkel 😃
