- In this video, I am going to make glycerin soap by using only four ingredients. I have used hot process for the making a soap. By using this soap base, you can make different types of organic soap by using natural ingredients at your home.
What we needed?
Distilled water - 100 ml
Caustic soda/lye - 10 g
Coconut oil - 50 mL
Glycerin - 5 mL
Convert grams of oil into milliliter through dividing it by density of that oil.
milliliter of oil = grams of oil / density of oil

Why the amount of water is so high ? At the soap calc written that you can use only 20 gram of water

It will not make huge difference at small scale.

Maybe because of the type of coconut oil you used, its color varies as per the coconut oil.

Yes, aap kar sakte ho.
Can we do this same in cold process method?
I don't think. Heat needed but you can try by using hot sodium hydroxide solution.
Temperature maintenance is necessary because it will affect your soap.

Mujhe raw material mehanga mil rha hai, kyunki sbse kareeb soap base provider 100km + door hai.
To overall price Triple se bhi jyada ho ja rha hai.
Ab mai ise try krne wala hoon agr successful ho gya to bahut acha hoga.

@@arshitrana9567 Exactly weight nahi kiya hai, par kam quantity hai to kam banega 150-200 grams. Agar aap iss method ko use kar rahe ho to me suggest karna chahti hu ki paani ki quantity aur kam rakhna. Aur pehle kam quantity mein hi banaana kyu ki mere liye bhi ye trial and error method thi.

Caustic Soda seems very dangerous for the skin
As a individual chemical it is but when it combine with the oil, it changes its composition and converts into a soap, which is not harmful.

Yes you have to!!
No need stearic acid? And alcohol+
No you don't required steric acid and alcohol but there are method in which these chemicals are use. Genuinely speaking, through this method you might not get the results in first time. I have performed this like so many times because temperature maintenance and heating plays important role.
