The 79 Upland cap toe by Truman is one of my favourite patterns they make, i have that pattern in the Dark Coyote Roughout, Brown Seidel Doubleshot and Oxbood Doulbleshot. If you’re looking for a Packer/Rancher style boot without a dogger/woodsman heel this pattern is great, have other Truman uplands but this is my favourite of their 8” boots. These horserump boots are beautiful but they’d end up shelf queens for me, also prefer the Eugene sole on almost all Truman Boots now. 🤘
I'm not a huge fan of some wildly colored leather but I really like that heavy lug sole. Only have one pair of cap toe in brown double shot and even four months later they still smell great and it's the nicest welt and stitching on any of my boots. Definitely want a few more pairs of Truman's.
I got a pair of Cognac Horse Rump. It became my fav pair of boots and I have about 40 pair. They killed it with the RUMP. Truman is getting all my $$$ I'm wearing mine at the moment.
Hey, Dale! I just purchased 2 pairs of kilties from you. The dark chocolate waxed flesh will go to my black waxed flesh Truman Uplands. Thanks for the extras! Love your work brother!
I preordered the Gallun navy-blue horse rump leather boots from Truma. It will be shipped at the end of this month and I am very EXCITED! I am debating whether I should get their Seidal Ink Cheaha boots too. I believe you did a quick video showcasing Ink Cheaha a few years ago. How are they different in person? Is Gallun horse rump more glossy than Seidal Ink Cheaha? Do they both have pull-ups? (I noticed the horse rump has grains looks more bluey to my eyes)
Those are absolute knockouts! Ive heard rumblings that not all of the Gallun HR has the same amount of "Gnarly" even with the smaller batches. That pair is impressive.though. Enjoy yours in good health! 🍺
I wish they did more "make your own upland" preorders. I used the first one to get one in black chamois (missed out on the natural cypress which I regret hard) and they closed the second round really abruptly within a few days so no idea what went on there. Maybe the second round was more successful than the first
I'm waiting for mine, but in plain toe ,not the heavy lug and the low top. I prefer a more dressy look for I wear heavy work boots all day. These will be my 3rd pair, tea core and black shrunken bison. I wish Grant Stone would offer this type of leather in the Diesel. I have 15 pairs of GS in my collection for they fit so well for the price and top Q. Truman look good, but the fit is @ a 7 out of 10, love your reviews, watch them all even the one about your hair. As a guy with hair, we don't judge, your ok with me.
Love the way those cinnamon boots are wearing in. I was so tempted to get them but I just have to have speed hooks. Hopefully they will get back to them like the cognac hr and the black hr (and keep them in the 79 last).
These look great, unfortunately Truman’s lasts do not fit my feet well. I like my Grant Stone Brass boots in Gallun Waxy Stag (wearing them right now, in fact) so hopefully I see this navy horse rump on a boot that fits my feet better.
The last 4 boots from Truman have had significant cosmetic issues, one was so poorly lasted that it had to be fully refunded. I have 9 of their boots over the last 3 years. So sad to see this company looking after people who promote their product but sending crap to randoms.

Amazing!! Thanks for your support my friend!!
I’m normally not a fan of blue boots, but damn those look good.
Amazing boots and review. Great jacket

That leather is so nice.

Can this exact boot be ordered, or is it unavailable to the public?

I hope you get over this phase of music soon.
Great boots nonetheless.
