So I have an inquiry about boots I've consistently used the Carolina CA8528 model of boot for the past 4 years and my feet loves them I was wondering if they are able to be resoled without too much headache if you could get back to me that would be great
You say, “there’s really no information on their site anywhere about the specifics of why they designed this boot, what it’s for.” From their website: “We are not a work boot company and we are not a dress boot/shoe company. We make a boot for both occasions, and this is the reason that we don’t have “collections” of boots. They can do everything, they were built for everything, and they should be the most versatile pair of boots you own, but they won’t be stuck in one class or collection. That’s the whole point of the brand.”
Man the level of production is insane, I work with some huge kids gaming channel and the B roll, editing and overall production of these videos blows my mind, just things like rendering 'cheapo' on the boot outsoul is so much added work but the end result is crazy, keep it up !!!!

I'm glad we finally get to see Truman's go through the band saw. But I'm sticking with my theory that there is some kind of tiff between Weston and Vince. All these boot channels are fairly ridiculous, although I watch them from time to time. Most of the people who wear these “lifestyle” boots, including this guy; aren’t really working in them, so something like Red Wings would last basically forever. I own a couple pairs of Truman’s now, along with White’s, Viberg, Dayton, Red Wings, Frye; and a few other brands. Truman’s are tougher than, say, Alden Indy’s or Red Wing Iron Rangers, both of which are tough enough to wear to office jobs and take for walks in the park. IM looking into something bikerstyle but i also like the quality of wolverine. i kinda like the look of tims or Dr martins but the quality is pretty bad. I dont do fake leather im a leather guy. so what would be a good. Street/biker/workboot that looks good and that has that wolverien quality boots for me thats into fashion.
If they gusseted up those tongues I’d buy a pair and put them to work. To me, if I’m wearing boots I want them to have a fully gusseted tongue. Just a personal preference. Great boots though.
some older vids I've seen definitely had foam insole stuff. don't know when they changed that or the branded outsole, etc. they keep changing the leather to whatever and they don't much do wide widths still?
seems like they don't want to offer the taller ones much now and also want to sell more the waxed flesh and roughout stuff than the really nice-looking pretty leathers as much, too. also, they do still hurt to wear out the box more than some the less expensy brands and don't know how long this may last. PNW says 80-100 hrs maybe for theirs, but they have the heavy arch and thicker leather, etc.
@Highland_Paddy that I'm not sure of. how old are yours? I'm pretty sure it's been several years. I don't know if any of mine have foam, but if they do I can't tell. My first pair was bought in june of 21.
@Highland_Paddy also I don't find them to hurt to wear out of the box? unless you are referring to break in? In that case I could understand as they do use some pretty beefy leathers

Do John Lofgren
Rose, can you review the danner 917 gtx moc please? Or can you give me your opinion about them, i just bought them and I highly value your opinion. Thanks
Truman boots are sick! I love mine. Wish I had more.
Is it an actual leather counter?
Thorogood moctoe boots are not two pieces of leather. Their moctoe is one piece that is pinched and sticked. Just an FYI
I really like ur videos, keep it up. But could you please do a video about some decent European brands? Hard for me to get the USA stuff. Thanks!!
Like to ware quality leather boots with shorts for town and trails in hot climates what would you recommend?
Truman vs Grant Stone?!
No idea how they fit, but at least those appear to be about the perfect work boot for what I do so congrats to them. I’ll have to try a pair 👍🏼
It's about time!
what's the counter made of? u didn't mention it in the video
Weston, you absolutely must get a pair of "The Brant Shoe's" to test and review on your channel. They are the best minimalist shoe on the market.
Thank you
Can you do some Wellington style pull on boots
Thanks for the video! 👍🏻
Love them BUT problem with heels coming off twice. Very aggravating
Finally Truman!!
I'd nab some insoles, but I wear a size 15. Any chance for larger sizes at some point?
could you consider to get a hand on a pair of altberg? Many people are pleased but there is almost no reviews about them
Hey what’s the jacket from your video thumb nail pick?
How's it working man I've noticed that working man only buy boots up to about $300 anything above that is not for the working man that is for the bougie man
This seems like the right place to ask: Does anyone know a good quality low-drop or no-drop men's boots brand? I'm looking for leather boots, not synthetic stuff.
Thanks a lot!
Please review VISVIM Cossack Folk boot
You can’t tempt us to cut open an older model and then not do it. Dooo it, dooo it, dooo it.
You dont need deodorant for your feet. Just wear wool socks and leather boots, your feet will never stink
Can you please make a leather backpack video
Is the discount only in the us? Because i dont see any difference
He’s the James Hoffman of boots. The scary thing is, you know what I’m talking about…
You hit 1 mill!!!!

His name is not Rose. ROSE ANVIL is his brand. His name is Weston Kay.
@@MaximSupernov thanks ill edit
If they gusseted up those tongues I’d buy a pair and put them to work. To me, if I’m wearing boots I want them to have a fully gusseted tongue. Just a personal preference. Great boots though.
Disappointing gusset , hipster footwear.
you can always use a false tongue. I've worn two pairs of Trumans to work and have had zero issues
I mean your cobbler will do it in 5 mins lol. Slide them a $20 and its done quick. Cobblers love this simple easy work..

@@MetalBootGuyfalse tongue ain’t gonna cut it.
Not bad constructed boots.
do they have a leather counter?
I'd love to see more new balances
some older vids I've seen definitely had foam insole stuff. don't know when they changed that or the branded outsole, etc. they keep changing the leather to whatever and they don't much do wide widths still?
seems like they don't want to offer the taller ones much now and also want to sell more the waxed flesh and roughout stuff than the really nice-looking pretty leathers as much, too. also, they do still hurt to wear out the box more than some the less expensy brands and don't know how long this may last. PNW says 80-100 hrs maybe for theirs, but they have the heavy arch and thicker leather, etc.
they changed from foam to cork several years ago after customers were complaining about it.
Yes, but which year? How many of mine? Is largely not needed for him to cut up the other boots in many cases.
Those are fantastic looking boots!
The preamble about there being a "a great demand for american made boots" is funny knowing he said on twitter they are exiting the heritage boot market because its not big enough and companies only survive doing it as a side hustle.
say more about this. are they making changes?
@@bobjohnson6321Nobody really knows. He's claiming they're going to cancel the Stone and Coach Rambler versions, which are their number two and number three sellers. Sounds like he had a falling out with CF Stead and flew off the handle.
Guy doesn't strike me as the most stable of individuals, unlike someone like Andrew at Parkhurst, who comes across as one of the nicest, most genuine people alive. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's a ploy to sell more boots during the holiday season . Or it could be true. The irony of his language is that for him, Truman Boot IS a side hustle. Apparently he owns a huge ranch in the Spokane area, comes from money, and spends most of his time tending his ranch and having fun in the outdoors. Well, unless he's burying his own employees on Twitter as he did recently LOL.
