It's because 1 is tilted all the way forward and 9 is all of the way backwards. 3-4 is the best. But it also depends on the rider and how you can keep the wheel in idle position. I feel like when he rides up the launch ramp he is still accelerating instead of letting off and coasting up with the built-up speed and lifting his legs towards his torso. Master is much, much better with the tilt in the air than it was. I'm not entirely sure about the Extreme.
If you’ve ever jumped with a s22 the pedals never change angle in the air, no matter how much you have to torque up the jump. The pedals should never change angle period. Pay attention to the sound of the wheel spinning in the air. You can hear it go quiet before I land, that means it is not over spinning forward or backward, the problem is the wheel wants to be tilted back further than it should be to achieve this neutral angle in the air. This is a problem with the Begode wheels specifically that needs to be fixed in the firmware. If you think it’s rider error it is not, let the developers fix the firmware and do not spread misinformation please.
If you want to prove something about it being rider error please just make a simple video that shows jumping a Begode without getting hangtime tiltback. 👍
@@trubttam my bro. You're one of my favorite riders to watch. You're not rider error. Any jump over 6ft will make my wheel start to tilt back then do this auto correct thing. Im not sure if it's just the wheel..but it just sounds like the extreme is still accelerating in the air with either forwards or backwards lean instead of being fairly straight. I've never jumped the extreme. Is it fairly well balanced when you jump? Or does it feel awkward?
thats amazing that it tilts back in air is amazing as it stops the wheel from spinning in a way so safer to land the jump try a soft mode mate will stop tilt bk in air
Need a jump PID config where the begode sauce of spinning up faster is muted when the PWM load suddenly drops (basically when you leave the ramp, the PWM drops massively compared to when powering up the peak of the ramp)
@11:29 "the peaky type" jumps symptom is what i experience too, albeit with the T4. The more "forward" motion a jump has, the smoother the landing. The more up I go to drop down the more the weird pedal behavior. Once again another affirmation of what I experience...
Have you ever seen clark pedals with the notch for the front side pads? That's the idea, I run them like this so there is less chance of pedal striking rocks.
They stick out further in the front the other way. They were originally designed to be mounted this way, that’s why there’s a cut out for your side pads like how Clark pedals are
I'm looking to upgrade to a 1000 pound spring shock for my extreme.. will a 190mm length one still be the best length to take as much advantage of the full 130mm suspension travel or a different length? What do you think about the patton vs. extreme static torque argument? Can the static torque be improved with an update to match or surpass that of the patton? Are the stock pedals enough to take the forces landing all those jumps? Thank you
I think ~200x45mm is what you want. I haven't tried a Patton but I can't imagine actually needing more torque, Extreme can climb up rock faces on the uphill no problem. Stock pedals are probably fine strength wise I just think they are super wide and clip rocks easier. I also like the erides pedals for the raised heel and toe.
@trubttam I've been unable to find a 200x45mm 1000 pound spring.. only 190mm ones.. will the 190mm ones not take advantage of the full 130mm suspension travel? You know where to get a 200mm 1000 pound spring from? Thank you
@trubttam hmm.. just got my extreme and immediately swapped out for 900 pound spring shock as most people have been saying it's better but at 200 pounds think I need a 1000 pound shock but only found in 190mm length so far.. not 200mm
Sick jumping man! How do you get the Kai pads? I sent msgs and emails to supposedly who sells them but no reply so though I might be asking the wrong person. Stay safe dude

So funny that you’re all relaxed easily jumping and when I was there with you and Roger I was crashing all over the place 🤣
man you have a dope park to practice!
They built it right when I got started in EUC! It was meant to be haha
Good video thanks for the data 👍
was looking forward to this kinda video.... thank you
That was dissepointing.
I did not get that experience with my Master after updating the FW.
Also a chines video looked good with no tiltback.
Still seems to be tilting quite a lot compared to what KS does... Lets hope they keep improving

Yeah they need to figure something out. Shouldn’t be so hard considering they are the only brand with the issue
It seems like a lot of weight is being thrown towards the back of the machine.

Cool
What are the benefits of running the Wolverine pedals narrow-side forward like that? Always looks backwards to me

My fairing set is almost complete if you wanted it to match how I did your t4
Which "number" is it that you are referring to changing up or down. In the begode app?
Probably the angle compensation adjustment or turning angle adjustment, I think different firmwares have different names for it.
Matt any reason why you have your e-rides pedal oriented that way? I have the same ones, but its faced the other way.

@@trubttam yeah I was also thinking that it could reduce pedal clipping. I'll see if I can change it that way on the Patton

Is 40t only 1900 wh battery like chooch said?
Yes, this is always the case, we trade capacity for discharge rate. It is however not lighter, it is the same weight, chooch is a dummy.
Are you sending these to begode?
I’m not, I didn’t know that was a thing I could or should do lol 🤷♂️
