      Great question Robin. Honestly, that’s just how the yarn worked up on its own. I wish I could take credit for positioning the pattern just so but nope. I just worked up the crochet stitch and wualla. 🤗❤️🧶

    I bought the pattern and think there is an error on row 3. After the 5 dc then another sc in next 5 chain space, then chain 5. Unless I am reading it wrong. Beautiful shawl pattern. Excited to work on it

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Год назад

      That’s correct Beth. The sc after the 5Dc will help cement that shell stitch down. Double check with the video tutorial to see if that helps. 😊❤️🧶

    @mmmmjnfl9350 Год назад +1

    I don't get it. I ordered the exact same yarn and it isn't white like how your's look. It's more like off white and I am almost done with the skein of yarn and I have just 43 rows so it isn't even the same size and I don't crochet loosely. How could that be?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Год назад

      Hmm, must be a different dye lot. I would think the off-white would be pretty too. Hmm, if you crochet with a tighter tension I might recommend going up a crochet hook size Or adjusting the pattern and making more chains in your foundation row to elongate the pattern. Watch the multiple stitch count requirement so the pattern will work. 😊❤️🧶

    • @mmmmjnfl9350
      @mmmmjnfl9350 Год назад

      I followed your exact pattern and same amount of beginning chain stitches. Makes me wonder if I wasn't receiving a full skein. I was really wanting a white,not off white colored shawl so slightly disappointed with the color.
