We are waiting for the roborock s8 to be released 👍

    I saw a few like Dreame L10 Which can do vacuum even with the mop attached. I see that for this one, I have to remove the mop and then ask for it to do vacuum. I know I am nitpicking but I am guessing it works that way only.

    Thank you. I really want to buy this but the problem Im having is the mops dont pull up when going over rugs. This is my main issue. I have two Deebot 8+ which I love and was going to look at this one fore our first floor as dogs and people walk more here. We are a no shoe home but we have rugs on the first floor that need to get pet hair off but also to disinfect the floors. I know iRobot has a mop only device but I like to keep things in the same family so i dont have so many apps.

    hi, great review. If you have used it for a while could you speak of how well it works over the long term, I heard the app breaks down alot and deletes the maps, and the brushes are very poor quality. Do you reccomend buying after using it for a while? Thanks!

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  Год назад +1

      I've been using it for around 4 months now.
      1) I haven't had any issues with the app or maps being deleted
      2) Brushes are average quality, no issues yet
      3) Mop cleaning performance is good, but not great. Not as good as Narwal T10 and not as good as Roborock S7 MaxV.
      4) Not being able to lift the mop attachment is a major bummer, as my carpets don't get cleaned unless I use a different machine
      5) Solid navigator. It got stuck 2-3 times in the first few weeks, but not much since then.
      Overall, it's a great robot. Arguably top 5 on the market. However, I do still think Roborock's S7 MaxV has it beat by a healthy margin. Given a choice between the two I'd use Roborock.

      Hello Spicy, I've had my Deebot for about 18 months, in the version before this new one came out. I believe the app hasn't changed although I think updates occasionally get downloaded. The vacuum works beautifully and I can't imagine being without it, but I HAVE had the issues with the map disappearing and it's very frustrating because it takes time to map your whole house. This has happened twice. Mapping is important to me because sometimes I just want to ask Deebot to vacuum a specific area and without the map, the only way to do this is to carry it to the room, close the door and turn it on. The only other thing I have an issue with is mirrors. I have a floor length mirror plus two mirrored night stands. It confuses the heck out of the cameras on the machine and it will go around in circles trying to reorient itself. I have to cover the lower portion of the nightstands in order to get the bedroom done.
