Yeah i totally understand the sentiment about not caring about the story YET
So many mfers are expecting a shadowbringer/endwalker payout on an expansion that starts a new story and im like: bruh you only joined this mmo when it started getting good lmao.
The entire story sucks it’s sad the new writing team is so bad
100% agreed. Shadow bringers and endwalker were the climaxes of a huge, 10+ year long story! Of course they were exciting and action packed! They were the ending! Dawntrail is a beginning, its setting up the lore and laying the ground work for future plot twists and character development thats going to pay off later. And even if you dont like the story the maps, music and the dungeons/trials have been awesome so far

I hope you realize this was recorded on the day of release and he had literally story skipped the whole thing lol. This wasn't copium from bad writing, this is what everyone was saying already before release, and then promptly forgot when this expansion shockingly wasn't another shadowbringers.
