Can we just stop talking about how easy this tier is and talk about how fun it is? Because it is fun. Even if it would be cleared in 1 hour, who cares? It is still fun and will be fun to optimize later. Im so tired of these TRUE savage fights that average people clear in 4 fucking months or even more (I was one of them), i wanted cool looking, fun to prog fights and I got them. AND THANK GOD we didnt get this shit "so in this puzzle you only got 2 steps, if you go the wrong direction the whole party wipes, gl hf". The biggest complaint of endwalker is that there was no middle of the ground content besides EXs, not that savage was too hard. I'm also having fun but it's just the first tier, the real test will be if M5-M8 are also this easy, then I'll say there's a problem Also if you think savage is obnoxiously challenging, well... that's you

Something is off about this loot, because in Happy's first clear their chest had 5 pieces of loot: Weapon coffer, weapon, minion, mount, orchestrion. This ONLY has a weapon and minion. Someone in the party must have cleared already which reduced their loot.
Arthars had a few obligations too close to the release window to commit to a group and decided to just do this tier with friends/pugs this time around. He'll be back to hardcore progging next Ultimate.

I am so sick of this BS ARGUMENTS: "I'm fine with no DPS checks then having boring fight to reclear" "Its only first tier" or "are you world racer" We can have both you know?? Remember Eden Titan-E4S???. And no I am not a "world racer" and yet I cleared the tier while having IRL responsibilities. Think about few weeks ahead with having better gear and more optimal strats- the boses will evaporate all 4 of them- M4 second phase will be non-existend. "But that's in a static in PF will be chaos"- WE CLEARED before enrage started with omega scuffed strats several deaths and dmg downs with not even fully crafted geared team. Think about this- Savage should be practice/prepare you for ULTIMATE especially forth turn Are the fights fun - YES Do I prefer them over EW - GOD YES Are they severely under tuned even for the first tier - YES So please for the love of Honey B stop talking nonsense.
I think the mechanics are fine, but hp was definately undertuned on every fight that's not Honey B. All 3 of those fights should have like 4-5% more hp. All the clear vods I watch have ppl skipping entire mechanics except for Honey B, don't think I saw anyone skip Rotten Heart, usually have to do 2-3 nisis. I think the reason for this is that the hitboxes are now not designed for infinite uptime, so they had to scale the hp back compared to EW. But out of all the fights, the one that has you moving around erratically the most is Honey B, because of things like First Beat and the Groupbee fustercluck afterwards, and also because of the self-heals. So the scaling back fit her fine but was overkill for other fights. Well, no need to be too upset about it in the end. The tier is fun and that's what matters most. Hopefully they'll scale better next tier.
Agree, i remember titan and the fact that we missed both monk and blm, and we had a comp that literally was considered "mathematically impossible to week1". We BARELY cleared week1 with the most lucky crit run ever, we couldn't clear even with no deaths and no damage downs. I did a 100 that week on titan, most were 95+ too. To me that is trash design, i much prefer to be able to have no dps check the moment you do mechanics fine. I'm loving this tier tbh
I'm fine with this tier being on the easier side, difficulty is not exact science and not every fight/tier will fit in the same arbitrary difficulty "scale" as it varies from person to person. We'll see how the second tier shapes up. If anything, I don't want SE to listen to reactionary feedback. I don't want them to overcorrect and make 4 fights to be Eden Shiva level, but I also don't want them to listen to the opportunists praising it and make every savage moving forward easier. I work 9 to 6 and workout for 1-2h everyday and am already on M4S. The praise is just the usual bad actors seeing an opportunity to lower the bar to their level. Dunno why they're always so opinionated over something they didn't have an interest it, just like many of the people complaining about the DSR checkpoint back in the day being exposed for not even being able to clear EXs on content.

But if you look, the Sage used only Holos one time, NO Philosophia, no Krassis, Haima or Sotaria on MT, spam their GCD shield when not needed, AST never mitigate Tank with their OGCD and never use Horoscope for Free double healing... And they both practically 0 damage parse... A Pug healer would do better. I hope these two players do not heal Savage outside of this group while playing like this.
