Awesome Senu Chetto. This is really motivational and you struggled less compared to any other people who came on a dependent visa. Your years of experience in the field would have helped to easily get the job. There are many others in NZ who came on dependent visa and able to secure jobs in their streams but it took minimum 6 months to years in some cases.
There are good skilled people who came in dependent visas. But those who came on student visas and transitioned, often moke people as Pavada visa which is really funny about them and they need to learn there were struggles in the career path to reach the current level.
Edit: Opportunities were excellent in NZ a year ago and now in every field there is a restructure due to inflation. Try to come only with a job offer letter and don't fall prey to agencies.

Just a humble comment, when your children grow older especially in western countries try to make them independent and leave them to lead their life. There is no point in still looking after them after they are grown ups. You can help them in need but you need to think about your retirement life in these countries as well 🙏🙏

I agree on the positive side. When you come to NZ, your savings will be reduced to 1/4 of GCC's salary due to high expenses and taxation. Even in New Zealand, you have to save for your retirement and the government will provide minimum money to meet your expenses. So better to gain financial freedom in GCC itself (that too with a short time if you have the right skillsets) and stay the rest of your life happily in Kerala. Problems are everywhere even in New Zealand.
