Hello from WAState! Husband and I are 5 weeks into a plant based lifestyle. I made my own stir fry with your peanut sauce tonight and it was amazing! Thanks so much for sharing.
Derek!!! This sauce has been a game changer the past couple days!! I haven't gone grocery shopping in a couple weeks, so I've been scraping together some pretty sad meals with whatever I could find in my fridge and pantry, lol... but dousing everything in this sauce just ELEVATED it and still made them delicious!! Thank you for sharing! You are truly the sauce king!! 🙌🏼👑
As I am eating this sauce with a spoon I must say, and this is not an exaggeration, it is hands down the best sauce I have ever tasted in my entire life!
I am so used to see your kitchen in every video. If I land one day in your kitchen I know exactly where everything is and will straight away start cooking😊😊😊😊😊😊
The sauce looks great and for me the sauce makes the dish, think the dogs noodles will be my favourite. Love toasted sesame seeds, one of my favourite ways is on apple slices. Hope you guys are well, much love from Spain ♥️
Thank you so much for taking the time to put your RECIPES in the discription box for people like me WHO CANNOT COOK and ARE new to the PLANT BASE WAY OF EATING THANK YOU SO MUCH
I made some baked smoked tofu that was marinated with soy sauce, garlic powder and a little liquid smoke. The marinade tasted so good I wanted to use the leftovers for something. I thought, bet my buddy Derek has a sauce that will work to add my leftover marinade. Yes you did. DUDE!!! It was perfect there was literally 2Tbl of marinade left so I just used it in place of the tamari and 🤯 so delicious. Thanks so much for this video. There just might be hope for my sauce game after all.
Made this last night swirled into hot rice noodles topped with red pepper, steamed green cabbage, shredded carrot and corn that had been tossed in a light vinaigrette of rice wine and maple syrup. It was so good! Topping with toasted black sesame seeds *made* it. Would be so good even as an unrefrigerated summer salad for picnics. Thanks! I always love your sauces!
We make a very similar sauce here at work and is the best seller.Pea it noodle bowl and rice wraps.Only vegan spot here in small town Pembroke Ontario.Gratefull to still have a job and love seeing people come in and try it.
Thanks for this episode from a long time follower, first time commenter. My name is Bernadette and I’ve lost 165 lbs from WFPBNO since 2014. I’ve used your videos for motivation. Made the sauce last night. SO good!!! I did sub PB2 for the peanut butter just to decrease the fat but it worked out great! Thanks, I will definitely be making this regularly!
This is exactly what I was looking for! I over made peanut sauce for spring rolls and couldn’t think of any dishes to eat with it. I line make do I think the first one is going to be my favorite
Omg! Sooooo good! Even when I messed up the recipe and put 2 TABLEspoons instead of 2 TEAspoons of maple syrup by accident 😁 Beats my plain old dollop of tahini on my salads all day long. Thank you so much😎✌
I love peanut sauce. All of these look amazing. Honestly the kale looked amazing. I make stir fries and sautéed greens almost every night. Another great one Simnett!!
This sauce is delicious! Though I typically do not enjoy frozen veggies, my easy delicious dinner was brown rice, with cooked frozen veggies (the entire bag!) with this delicious sauce on top. I added crushed red pepper flakes to my sauce for a kick and used peanut powder to make the peanut butter (for less fat). Thanks for the inspiration Derek!
Just made this- OMG- the fresh ginger and garlic just bursting with intense flavor! I traded out tamari with coconut aminos. So incredibly delicious! Mmmmmm
This looks great! I'm going to try it. For my sweetener, I'll use allulose and small amount of maple extract. I try to avoid sugars as often as possible. Great recipe!
Buying a magic bullet for making sauces was so helpful for me, I honestly use it more than the high powered blender. Tip for people wanting to blend dates, it may work better if they are soaked.
@@Simnettnutrition I was not adding the "sweetner". So, next time I will try add the syrup. I should of known. I make Peanut sauce noodles. My last meal! I add frozen veggies and a little hot sauce... Now I am hungry. Thanks for the great videos!
Made the noodle bowl tonight! Deeelicious!! Even my omnivore hub chowed down 😍 Used the black rice noodles I had stashed in the cabinet, it was a beautiful bowl!!!
Another lovely video! There will always be people who'll complain about videos being too long, but here I am to say I wish this one was longer! haha Thank you for the amazing content; it's always nice to hang out with you (and Crystal) through RUclips and IG. Hey Derek, Ive been Vegan for 10 years now, i'm 26 and have learned a lot over the years from youtube videos, blogs ect about nutrition but recently I have had the desire to start studying nutrition a bit more to really understand all of these things I only know surface knowledge of. Things like how oxalates work. Are there any audiobooks or kindle books you would recommend for a base knowledge of Nutrition from a vegan prospective. I have been watching your videos for years and my wife loves following Crystal on Instagram, thank you for teaching us and for the positive videos! PS: I love calisthenics and would love to see more workout videos!
Hi Derek Very similar to one i make, but i use peanut flour in place of peanut butter. It has a lot less fat. I'll definitely be trying it with sesame seeds the next time.
@@Simnettnutrition I wasn't a fan. I like the impromptu spontaneous narrative better. More humor and general goofiness. This was too, I dunno, reserved? Obviously I still love the videos, but I like the old way better.
My favorite would be the kale. One thing I've discovered is that Smucker's Natural PB has no hydrogenated oils, I've been using that for quite a long time as I'm not a big fan of having to stir my PB. Your sauce is a lot like one I created years ago when I was introducing vegan side dishes to my family. The only ways mine was different was I didn't have any sweetener in mine, and I had added some toasted sesame oil along with either some hot sauce, not very much, or red pepper flakes. I would sometimes mix it up and use crunchy pb instead of creamy. The garlic, ginger and sometimes minced onion would saute in a pan before adding the rest of the sauce ingredients, adding the cooked noodles along with a bit of the cooking water to thin it out. I usually used it with ramen noodles as it was quicker for cooking, and my kids were crazy about those noodles as opposed to other types. I'd also use some of the flavor packet instead of adding plain salt. These days I don't bother with any salt and prefer a plain spaghetti type. I suspect I'm going to be making some for supper as it just sounds really good. Thanks Derek, love the videos
Thank you so much for this sauce recipe! I love peanut sauces but they are so often are so loaded with oil. I’ll definitely try these recipes, I’m sure it tastes amazing 😋
Ah yes, a Simnett video. I think it’s safe to say this is what we all need today 🙌
