Dude this comment killed me 🤣🤣🤣 Aaron: *drops a video*
Everyone besides Aaron: *life changes again* 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
For those considering buying their cookbook, I got it for Christmas and it quickly graduated to one of three cookbooks that are right on my kitchen counter for quick accessibility. I’ve not made anything from it that wasn’t absolutely amazing, and the explanations and information on different Korean ingredients and things have been so helpful to me as I am learning about my newest favorite cooking obsession-Korean food!! Well thought out, simple but flavor packed recipes….get it, you will not regret it!! ❤
Thank you!! You always wonder, so it's good to have confirmation. 😊
Love the book! What is this recipe called in the index????
@@briggyb I have it as well and it is AMAZING!
Ok… I will get it 👍
@@PiggyLong-zz6uw you won’t regret it!! 🥰
One: warm up the jar of peanut butter to make it easier to scoop out & mix (people keep their peanut butter in the fridge in some places). Two: If you can't be bothered grinding peanuts, just use 'crunchy' peanut butter. Three: Use 'quick pickled' cucumber (a few hours/days in white vinegar and a bit of salt, store in fridge until needed) for a mouth cleanser - goes well with a lot of things, if you don't eat it all by itself first.
So many tips to try. I’m sure everybody will love it! 😁
II keep my peanut butter in the fridge so it doesn't separate. I only use peanut with one or two ingredients, peanuts/salt. I'm not a fan of whipped lard, sugar, salt and peanuts, it tastes terrible. But eat what you want.
The pickled cucumber is brilliant!
Those bits and pieces of peanuts act as toppings, you won't get the same crunch from a chunky peanut butter
ok, being a peanut butter fanatic I HAD to try this - first I tried as you did it, and it was really good, but being the tweaker I am, I decided to try it again using CRUNCHY pbutter (a lil more - maybe a generous 1/2 tb) and a 1/2 pound of ground turkey......O.M.G. it was amazing on the rice noodles AND I did it AGAIN with just the ground turkey so I can use that on rice. Today I took 2 tbsp of the turkey mixture and added a lil sesame oil, vinegar & a 1/2 tsp of pbutter & shook it up to make SALAD DRESSING for my salad today - THIS IS ONE ALL PURPOSE FLEXIBLE RECIPE! Thanks Aaron! 😋😋😋
ur a genius girlking
I don’t think you know what tweaker means these days 😂
@@donnabryant5313 oops probably not.....but plz take it in the spirit it was written in LOL
Tweaker ???
I love that Claire always focuses on the food, rather than just trying to look good on camera. She’s authentic like Aaron, and true to her role. She also provides useful info to the audience! She’s definitely not a sidekick. 🎉😊
Totally agree.
Literally anything with peanut butter is my vibe. This looks like breakfast lunch AND dinner lol
I recommend using spaghetti noodles. Thick noodles works much better than thin noodles.
I happened on Aaron and Claire looking for a RUclips cooking channel I had previously watched. I so looove Aaron. He is hilarious and takes the intense out of cooking 'gourmet.' He is informative without being affected and completely funny. And Claire does a great job describing the tastes and textures. I believe this is going to be my new favorite cooking channel on RUclips.
If you had told me 10 years ago that I would try a peanut sauced noodle dish, I would never have believed you, but not only am I trying one, I MADE it. You are so convincing of how easy and tasty things are, so I broke down and made this for lunch today and it is really good!
That’s because ur either a very white or b very American
Came for the Aaron and Claire banter, bought the book, showed my kids the recipe. This channel is a treasure. Someday I'll have to visit Korea; love this stuff.
Made this for lunch today. Was pretty good. Added shrimp and cabbage. I recently learnt the trick for adding pasta water to the sauce. That worked pretty well. Thanks for a great recipe!!!!
Greetings from Australia! Normally I love noodles with lots of fresh vegetables, mixed with a sauce. Sometimes I just want noodles with a sauce and nothing else. This looks perfect for what I want! Thanks!
I made this for the first time on Monday. I made it for the second time on Tuesday. Now on Friday I’m making it for my kids and I’m confident they are going to love it! Great recipe!
This channel is pure delight
Hi Aaron and Claire from Southern California. I just made his for my Vegan Daughter. I added tofu to amp up the protein for her. She loved it! I have a tip that I accidentally discovered regarding ginger. I purchased a large bag at Cost Co and froze the ginger. When I need ginger I just grate it frozen and it’s so easy! I buy the organic and do not peel the skins…flavor is very good and I always have some on hand for your awesome recipes! Thanks again.
I just bought your book today, because this is my favourite channels for meals I can ACTUALLY make (& where I have most of the ingredients already) - always pretty simple and ALWAYS DELICIOUS ✨
Common Aaron and Claire W, I just made your chili garlic noodles for my brother and they were amazing thank you Aaron 🙂
I'm so glad you liked that 😍😍😍😍😍
were there any leftovers? does the sauce texture change? I'm thinking of making it for a potluck. But it has to sit 6 hours before, I start work hours before everyone else.
I love Claire’s excitement every time she does the tasting. It’s contagious. ❤
Peanut butter and cucumber is a classic combination.
If anyone here ever makes this, you have to eat the noodles and cucumber at the same time.
That combo is pretty alien to me but I'll give it a shot! I'm not a big fan of peanut butter in general but I *have* made peanut butter and sweet pickle sandwiches and am a big fan of them. Came up with the combo by accident out of necessity. Other than that I am also a HUGE fan of Thai peanut curry dishes (although that seems very hard for me to find for some reason) and peanut sauce but I'm very picky about it. Also a fan of pad tai. So this sounds relevant to my interests.
She is a lucky Girl. Aaron is so understanding, patient .. and a great cook.
I made this last night, and it was fantastic! Best PB noodles I ever made! Thanks, Aaron!
Where I live, they sell spicy peanut butter. Crunchy or smooth. It's not without it's charm, useful for stuff like this.
Just made this for our tea - I'm British - and it was super delicious! My wife declared "ooh, we can have this again!"
Claire gets so happy when Aaron calls her first a new dish…they make me happy. 😊
I didn’t know Aaron had a book! I’m getting mine today…❤
I made this with rice cakes instead of noodles and it was irresistible! So amazing, I wish I could eat this every day.
I love Claire's enthusiasm. I really appreciate the English translations. 👍🏽👍🏽
Claire is a great person to cook for!
This was so so so good. I have made it 3xs this week. I must stop now! 😂
My kind of friend 😂
My favorite go to noodles!! Better recipe with the cucumber. I have to try it.
I feel like this would also be great with some seasoned Ming bean sprouts. I’m definitely making this.
I also love how Claire appreciates the food. It is so cute!
Absolutely delicious noodles Aaron….I’m in the ‘I’m allergic to cucumber club’ so rather than itch my way thru my meal I used coriander (cilantro) instead. A 10/10 from me & greetings from South Australia
Claire: 👀 mmmmmmmm!
lol I love seeing her enjoy your meals.
Love how Aaron says don’t worry about it!
Aaron, we made this today and LOVED it! I used Gluten Free spaghetti and that change worked great! Thanks for another excellent recipe!
Yowza. Incredible. I added 300g cooked pork mince to the peanut sauce. Absolutely delicious.
I made this an it was delicious, I shall add more water next time because it was a bit rich. Adding cucumber was genius because it really did make a surprising difference. Thank you.
Oh, I love creamy peanut butter noodles! Can't wait to try this out.
I never eaten this before but I will follow the
Recipes ❤❤
Australian here. I love Korean food. This channel is the best.
Seems pretty time consuming to me. I will just grab some take away on the way home from work.
I've been waiting for this one! I'll definitely be making it this weekend!
Please let us know how it was!!! 😍
@@AaronandClaire It was every bit as amazing as I'd hoped. Another big hit, and it's going into the "regular rotation" list.
I have someone in the house with peanut (and sesame) allergies. So I will have to try this with cashew butter, but this looks so good.
I cant eat peanuts but with sunflower butter this would be amazing also❤❤❤
I was just thinking almond or cashew butter 🤤🥰
I just love these two. I just ordered it to support them and show them love. ❤
God Bless you two. May the Lord bless you and keep you may his face shine upon you. ❤
just made this!! added perhaps a bit too much peanut butter (my bad) but its AMAZING!! used filipino spiced vinegar instead of white and thick udon noodles. banger
Bang ! Bang!
This is one of my favourite dishes at a tiny restaurant in my city. They add a little crispy ground pork, but I don’t think it needs it.
Yes. It's great on its own 😍
Aaron and Claire are the best! Thank you both! ❤
Anytime! Thanks for watching! 😘
Are you an idol, Aaron? You’re looking mighty sharp with that great haircut.
Haha, thank you for the compliment! But be careful not to say that in front of idol fans, or you might be in danger! 🤣
An eye candy recipe that's easy and quick to put together. Thanks Aaron and Claire. I look forward to making this dish this week. Saludos desde Montevideo, Uruguay.
At first, I wasn't feeling like this would not work at all. Then my hangry bird reminded me that I am always saying that I am willing to try anything once.
So, just made this for lunch 20 minutes ago. Definitely surprised by how good it was, especially for being a 15 minute meal. +1 for Aaron.
I thought I wouldn't like peanut butter on noodles, but this is one of the best recipes I've ever tried! I used chili oil instead of flakes. Thanks for the recipe!
Your the Man Aaron ! Claire is happy ! Love your book and recipes thanks !
I love this because the sauce is cooked😊❤
Korean spicy flavour is always welcome! Thank you for the video!
Excellent recipe. I didn’t think I was going to like this dish as much as I did. My husband enjoyed the noodles as well. I got him to try another dish he would have never thought of eating. Thank you! I got the cookbook for Mother’s Day but I have been doing a lot of your dishes for years.
I really want to make this and pad thai on the same night and compare, this looks amazing. Thanks so much Aaron!
Love the idea! Sounds like a good challenge to me as well! lol 😎👍
Love these recipes and Aaron and Claire❤ so easy and amazingly delicious. Thank you
I made it today with ginger, white onion, crunchy pb, chicken stock gochujang paste and soba noodles. And soy sauce, vinegar and parsley and cucumber ribbons to garnish. It was mild, just as we were told and tasted good. The easiest way to make peanut spicy noodles I can imagine.
I rly came here from a Twitter ad and it's maybe one of the best clicks I've ever decided to follow through on these BAAAAAANG bro
Hahahaha yay my ad is workingggg
Same here
Can I pre-make the sauce and keep in the fridge until needed? If so how long (roughly) would the sauce last?
Sure, the sauce can be stored in the fridge for 3-5 days! Hope you try it soon! 🙌
@@AaronandClaire useful to know thank you. My kids come to visit every few days but there's no regular structure to which days they come to visit. So I figured if I could pre-make the sauce on a Monday (for instance) then I would hope that it would still be good for if they visited on a Thursday (for instance). It's a quick and easy meal then from a sauce that's already in the fridge.
Thanks!
I'm obsessed! It's so easy. I put mine in the fridge and I kept eating it. Goodbye instant packet noodles. Life changing it is!
Just made this with a few small modifications since I didn’t have a couple things in the format directed. So darn good. Saving this for another time. I tried making the NYT cooking peanut butter noodles and did not like at all. These are amazing!
went to a Chinese Buffet the other day. They had fried peanut butter chicken. I combined that with some vanilla soft serve ice cream. It was crazy insanely delicious.
That looks damn good!
Tell me about it! 🤣
Delicious, easy, and quick: the three must have requirements for a great late night meal. Peanut butter noodles meets or surpasses the acceptance standards for all three of these requirements! YUM! 😋
I’m a subscriber who is SO thankful for your recipes. One of the best channels on RUclips. Loving this particular recipe, I just had to purchase your book. Can’t wait to dive into it! 🙏🏻❤️
Mouth watering uncontrollably!!!
Ooh, I'm definitely making this tomorrow 😋
That's the spirit! 😎
I made this tonight - very tasty. I think I need less gogucharu - too spicy for me. Also, how many ounces of noodles did you use? I used 9.25oz of udon noodles and luckily I had doubled the sauce otherwise it would have been not enough. Adding pasta water was key. I added ground chicken and extra veggies to each bowl - very satisfying.
Perfect recipe for Lent! Thank you so much 🙏
Just made these for supper, Aaron is right. Life changing. So good. Will definitely be adding this to my recipe list.
I tried this today but I could not find oyster sauce so I tried hoisin sauce thinking it looks similar even though they’re different. The grocery store nearby did not have oyster sauce. It was really delicious I am going to have it tomorrow and the day after as well. Thank you Aaron. The cucumber is such a wonderful cooling crunchy texture to pair with the creamy spicy noodles.
Uhh, cant wait to try this one! By the way, u've linked the wrong recipe in your description. Thank you for so many inspirations
It’s fixed now. Thanks for letting me know! 🫶
I have missed so many of your dishes. But now that I found you two, I can catch up on your recipes.
The noodles dish looks and sounds so delicious , I will definitely be giving this dish a try.
Thank you.
Thank you for the recipe. I love peanut butter noodles, but no one else in my family does, so I’m always stuck with too many leftovers when I make them. This is perfectly sized for 2-3 meals, which is important because I get tired of eating the same meals, even delicious ones.
So I did make these using your recipe. It was so good. I've never had peanut noodles with cucumber. But I really loved the crunch and freshness. This recipe is a keeper. I also used udon noodles because that's what I had. Worked beautifully
I made this last night. I always taste a sauce after I've mixed it to see if I think it needs any adjustments. I tasted the sauce and thought, that's not nice! I wasn't going to waste it so went ahead with the rest of the dish. Once it was mixed with the garlic and ginger, plus the green onions, oh my goodness, it was absolutely SUPERB! I felt myself doing a Claire mmmm mmmm MMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!
I used pappardelle pasta noodles and it was spectacular. It definitely made a difference adding some pasta water to the dish. I was going to use regular hokkein noodles, but I wanted that pasta water. Thankfully I have enough left over to take to work for my dinner tomorrow night!
I made this but added tofu, fresh mint and bean sprouts. It tasted amazing! Thank you for the awesome sauce recipe
I love your wife's taste test at the end of the video. My favorite part.
I'm obsessed with peanut butter sauce and will definitely try this recipe. I just had breakfast, but I'm hungry for this now! I'm considering buying the book as well!
Made this tonight with thick udon and it was delicious!
I made this for dinner tonight and it was so delicious!! Thanks Aaron!!
Just made the dish. Easy, quick and so tasty. Loved it. I only had udon noodles but who cares they were beautifully coated in the sauce. I’m a happy person now
Making this first thing tomorrow! Your accents are 😊
Sounds like a delicious plan! Enjoy your cooking tomorrow! 😍
This really makes me miss noodles (I'm diabetic). And you have the cutest dishwasher.
If you haven't already, try shirataki noodles, nowhere near as good as real noodles, but not bad. I specifically like the shirataki tofu noodles, I think there's a little more carbs, but a bit closer to real noodles texture.
What about zoodles (zucchini cut into strips)?
I bought the book before the video was even over, lol. I've been watching for so many years and have an entire playlist that includes your videos. I love cook books. I'm excited to get mine and try some recipes. Congratulations!
I bought your cookbook 3 weeks ago!! 🥰
That's fantastic! I hope you're enjoying trying out the recipes from the cookbook! Let me know which ones are your favorites! 😊📚
Any recommendations for good noodle brands to keep on hand?
I just bought the book since I've been using your recipe
Greetings from Germany! Just had this delicious treat. Wow, wow, wow! My wife and I loved it! Thank you so much for this! ❤
I love your tips and your cookbook - absolutely making this tomorrow. Thank you both!
Thank you! You guys are awesome!
Cooked it today. I needed bit more water but was delicious not too hot/spicy !
This was really good. I added toasted sesames since we only had sesame oil, but it was awesome. And a lot more filling than you’d think.
My p-nut sauce uses chunky, demerara brown sugar, coconut milk, a pinch of salt and hot ground peppers. Much simpler. Just as tasty. Also makes a great dipping sance.
Just got an idea for the cucumber... for more crunch with similar neutral flavor.. why not sub it with JICAMA ?.... sweetish and whole lot crunchier than cucumber..
Aaron, you are my favorite youtube chef! And Mrs. Claire makes me want to learn Korean. I'm defiitely going to buy your cookbook.
Aaron and Claire, you are my favorite Koreans. 👨🍳👩🍳🇺🇸🤝🇰🇷
Okay, I just did it, took me longer than 15 mins, but its extremely delishious and creamy, I will be doing this more often, thank you so much
I found that cookbook (1) in the garage. Must cook something. The recipes look easy and I have most items here.
