Love the split screen. LOL. Well done! I love your car too my friend. I'm working on a 1938 Chevy Business Coupe at this time and I love it. Your videos are awesome and you've got a great screen presence. Keep up the good work! God bless!
I would have put a bead of that sealant between the body and the seal because I over do everything, and if your driving in the rain with the wind pushing the water it always finds a pinhole and drips on you. I half expected to see Dave with the hats reflection in the background of one of the windows while you worked. The glass looks good in there.
Great work dave on the glass works... And that's exactly the type of rubber i told you about when you were doing the glass palettes and knew the prices... The generic works amazing and just does the job... Wish to see the power windows section so u d have all the car's glass done for good!
I sure hope your window/windshield sealing method works. My unfortunate experience has been that "water finds a way" to go where you don't want it to go. I ultimately had to install the factory style seal to fix the leaks on my 37 Ford. Driving in the rain will be the test.
Gday dave its amazing the difference glass makes hey, dam dont laugh a thought just popped into my head you could try some hard wood flooring on ya running boards might look good hey might not but will be different . all the best big pete..
Keep the other Dave around it’s much easier to put glass in with two I mean four hands lol . Cars getting closer each day won’t be long and looking good .
great video showing installation of glass. appreciate it. I am assuming that you made templates for glass and took them to local glass shop. I am new to this and will have to do this on my 35 pontiac coupe.
Looking cool Dave. It looks like you were off cruising for chicks. Ha-Ha.😎 I love the intro. If I were you, I would tape it in place plus have a moving matt over the dash and steering column in fear the glass would slip. But it all worked out for you in the end. Thanks for sharing. 🍁👍👍
Got to be honest with you Dave. The windows look great. I didn’t think that was going to go, as well as, it did. My question is how well the front window will last over time, given the flex caused by air pressure. Time will tell. Good job 👍
This what I got, but if I was to do it again I'd go for something a bit bigger. www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07DG5DCDC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Did you enlarge the size of the glass to compensate for the lack of the factory rubber, or is it regular size ? Have been wondering about that. Carry On ! Great Job ! I am building a 1939 Chevy 5 window coupe
I'm Confused? I read nothing in My Little Golden Books That there was 2 Daves...Hmmm Also i see the house is for sale nextdoor to you, I could buy that and WE can play LEGO'S & BRACKET'S All Day EVERYDAY...Won't that be FUNNNNN...! CUDDLES.
10 am that is a late morning, you need to get out earlier, way earlier. Oh well continue since its too late now. I can see you got awfully tired by the end of the video boy you really get to dragging by the end.
@@ScottRods I am watching this on Sat morning and just before the end of your video my RUclips developed a problem and your video is slowed down by about 25%, when I made my comment I thought it was just your video that is why I wrote the last sentence. It wasn't until when I went to the next video that I realized it was the whole RUclips channel. I am 72 and retired, my day may start at 4 am or noon, keep on doing what you are doing and I will keep on watching.
Very nice job, I learned alot. I am having my 37 Pontiac coupe windsheild installed. Thank you Sir for sharing this.

Thanks Johnny, good luck with your build.
Id suggest cleaning the window edge with denatured alcohol prior to applying the gasket or sealer.... Nice way to minimize high glass costs. Great job

Yep good looking glass simple and easy.

Looks great! That is going to be a very nice car when finished. I like it a lot, except for the shotgunned door. LOL
Nice work

looks good. you must have been a juggler in another life.
Nice video, enjoyed the intro and ending. Are you sure you don't have a production crew? Keep it up. Oh the front glass came out awesome!
Hey Dave. Where did you get the rubber seals and sealer? I may do the same thing. My window frames are the same.
This what I got, but if I was to do it again I'd go for something a bit bigger.

Regular size glass as I'd like to get the proper rubber one day.
Outstanding ! Thanks for the quick response. Have a great day !
Nice Dave, but that guy in the hat sucks as a helper!😜
Put some door glass in and let's go to lunch.
Was that laminated glass for the windshield?
Yes, it's all laminated.
Just wondering if you have had any leaks since your install
No leaks. Yes, I'm surprised too, lol.
@@ScottRods I got to do a 49 dodge hope it works out fore 😆 thanks for the video
can you get that rubber at hardware store or order it from somewhere thanks andy in tenn
Hey Andy. I got the rubber on Amazon. I just took a guess at the size.

Great job Dave. Your to do list keeps getting shorter. Won't be long before you're done.

That clock doesn't tell the time well. I only use it for decoration.
