People who shop at Costco don’t realise they end of buying stuff they end and the stuff they need it’s in such large quantity they really may not be able to consume
She sold me on it ! And she’s completely correct. She purchased double the food for less the price .. I am getting my card today ! Great video and thank you God bless ! ♥️
Thanks so much! If my husband comes with me (almost never) he starts putting all kinds of weird stuff in the basket! Nothing worse than when he wants razors, they are a fortune!! 💸
I'm not really one to comment on videos but wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your content and how inspiring you are. I was taking note on everything you bought!
Hey mama,... sorry for tuning in late! But I am here, 😇🤞🙏 I love the video, love the shake w/the eggs etc... loved it! 🫶 hope all is well, I live by a walmart and a Costco but I've never shopped there... always @ walmart target ot Sam's but I will check it out, thank you for the tips and love you show us all! We're lucky to have you in our lives, thank you! We 'I' love you and thank you again for everything! Oxs alwayz 😇🤞🙏
I would love to see you compare the top dozen items of staples for a family such as: 1) Organic milk, 2) Organic berries, 3)Organic spinach, 4)Organic walnuts, 5) Salmon, 6) Organic Beef, 7)Organic Chicken, 8) Lunchmeat, C9) heese, 10)bulk Brown Rice, 11) Organic apples 12) Onions. Thanks!
I loved Target when I was on vacation in America a month ago! I never got to visit Walmart & Costco. I visited Trader Joe's though! They have an AMAZING Ranch Seasoning! I even brought it home to Denmark in my luggage and use it nearly every day! That's how good it is! Mix it with low fat greek yogurt/skyr to make your own high protein ranch dressing! 🔥
How fun! We don’t have Trader Joe’s or Target here in Canada either. Lots of Costco and Walmart though and I’m both quite a lot! I’ve heard great reviews on Trader Joes! Where did you visit? First time in US? Have you been to Canada?🩷
Literally cooking oatmeal right now! That's a steal at $11.99. That's about a buck a pound. Oatmeal has gone up in price over the last couple of years here in the states. 😢
I think you can get it for like 80 cents a pound currently at costco!. Though the organic is about 1.10-1.30$ a pound though. Not sure about anti gmo, but they've been saying unfortunately that there's been rumors some pesticide that makes non organic oatmeal easier to harvest has links to infertility(???), it's gossip though but I heard there might be a credible grain for rat tests. I guess oatmeal is still pretty economical so if you pay 50 cents more a lb, a 1/10th lb portion is only 5 cents more and it's a great source of fiber. But it's still basically 50% more per pound i suppose. Do say i suppose, im not sure if a lot of people can afford kids in this economy but food for thought. Great deals for sure! Just wish the news didn't constantly say everything was killing us haha.
Such a great video! If you shop a lot at costco and have an executive membership, you get the credit at the end of the year! Basically pays for itself :)
I would have loved to Valentina but we don’t have Target in Canada (they came and they left!) and I’ve never heard of BJ’s! What is that one? (We also don’t have Sam’s Club!)
Also, tell Will that he left out the collagen when he wrote out the recipe for the cookie in today's video. Mixing it up now and was like wait, I'm pretty sure there was collagen too...
I am amazed at that. OF course I use Walmart for canned foods mostly. I really wonder who has th ebetter deal on other staples, like paper towels, etc. But if I am buying in bulk, I am joining Costco.
You and me both John! I go to Walmart for the canned food some bathroom supplies etc but really we need them both! But it makes you think about some of the items, it blows your mind with the difference! Thx for watching!
Woohoo! Love Costco! Plus they pay their employees living wages and benefits unlike Walmart! Costcos a great business model and worth the support! Great video Mama T
Do you have a video where you compare Costco to Sam's club? I've had a Costco and Sam's club membership and dropped Costco after sometime because of the extra drive. I've been thinking of dropping the Sam's club and getting the Costco membership again to change up the scenery for the kids
Hi, thanks so much for watching! Sadly, we don’t have Sam’s Club in Canada. They opened here almost 20 years ago (2003) but it didn’t last and they all closed down in 2009! I used to quite like it as they carried different inventory than Costco. Now, even when we’re in the US I only go to Costco as my membership is good there. Maybe a change would be fun for you and the kids!
What a great video, the savings at Costco are incredible! Funny how people think Walmart has the most competitive prices, you proved them all wrong. Lucky you have Quest chips at your Costco, they do not have them in mine at all!
Wow! Costco should hire you for their marketing department, Mama T. We have a Walmart in our town, across the street from my favorite brewery, in fact. But the nearest Costco is 3 towns over. However, to save that much money, with the right way of stocking up, it seems worth it to drive over every couple of weeks. Great video, as usual.
Thank you Richard! I was pretty surprised by the differential, kinda crazy! I’m guessing you’re a beer lover? Craft beer? My daughters love the little breweries 🍺
@@MamaTenny I am from Germany 🇩🇪 Walmart was trying to get a foot into the German market, but they weren’t successful an they gave up in 2006 😅 Grocery stores in Germany are different and discount supermarket chains are popular, e. g. Aldi or Lidl. I think here’s a highly competitive market. Customers are quite price-conscious, but they don’t need a lot of service, e. g. they are packing their groceries on their own. As far as I understood, Walmart didn’t get the German shopping culture. Next Costco is in the UK. If I travel there, I might want to go there.
thanks for this, usually I hit up costco or sams club (assuming canada has those) during the late fall-to early spring (aka winter bulking season) but might reconsider seeing as that extra $100 a month would go great into my investment portfolio (yes i'm a stock/investment guy, gotta retire before 40 ya know lol)... btw gotta ask 2 questions, booze wise is costco still a better buy?.... also (idk if canada has these) but have you considered thrift shops and 7-11's? (only in the best areas here in chicago hahaha).... side note, gotta get them real eggs and full fat yogurts
Guess what Jon? They don’t even sell booze or wine or even beer in Costco here! Such puritans 😂 Sam’s Club was only here for a bit and it’s gone, Target came and went too 🤷🏼♀️
@@MamaTenny trust me, no loss on target, being that your not here in the states you probably wouldn't understand.... costco's in canada need an inventory upgrade lol (have a great weekend)
For SURE team Costco here!🙋🏼♀️💯✔ The best, and SOO worth it for the cheaper gas too, these days👌🏻You also get a good workout out of loading and unloading the car after a costco trip, lol🤣
another way to save money instead of buying greek yogurt I usually make homemade greek yogurt by using instant pot to save money. The only downside is it does have little higher carbs. Also I'm so glad that I owned my ninja creami ice cream machine since I no longer buy an expansive halo top ice cream where I can make my own lower calorie high protein.
Go price eggs, milk, cheese, chicken and ground beef. Cherry picking exotic products makes you look like a scam artist. Costco price gouges on essentials... $7.19 Kirkland Signature 2% Reduced Fat Milk, 1 Gallon, $1.94 Great Value 2% Reduced Fat Milk, 1 Gallon

How interesting! I tried looking around Costco a couple times but just couldn’t see much savings compared to my usual stores (admittedly I shop mostly sale items😅). I found the meat/fish especially expensive at Costco. Not sure how I missed seeing all the deals you got! Never ended up buying a membership. It was an absolute ZOO on a weekday morning. Couldn’t even find parking! Just not for me 😊
I understand why you could not compare Cosco to Sam’s Club (the Walmart version of Cosco). I believe There are no Sam’s Clubs in Canada. In my humble opinion, a much better comparison (truly apples to apples) should have been comparing Sam’s Club with Cosco. But again it’s hard to compare when you don’t have a Sam’s club available to you.
Hi Maria, we don’t have Sam’s Club in Canada anymore, they left years ago! We have Walmart and the bigger/better Walmart Superstores which have the groceries etc. Many people think they’re cheaper especially since there’s no membership fee, but obviously I didn’t find that to be true! I appreciate your comment 😘
Great video!! I always feel like I spend a fortune at Costco. Good to know that it's actually worth it!
So true! It’s impossible to just buy a couple of things! I’m there way too often!😂
