I hope you enjoy the Austerlitz Scenario, we think its a good one. We put a lot of thought into creating the 'fog of war' literally and metaphorically LOL.
Nice to see this. A reminder that the French almost always win Waterloo in game. That shows the value of Wellington skills, and of Blucher's determination to get there on time.
So true, that is partly why Waterloo is such a great attraction to historical wargamers. However, I must say, in our DBN waterloo experience, if the French dont coordinate their attacks properly and the Brit/Allies deploy and respond correctly, then the Allies will win and have won with our DBN refights. Too many gamers under rate the effect of the Waterloo terrain. That ridge line sunken road and hedge line were formidable obstacle's to Napoleonic troops.
@@MrElliptific Yes, the full scenario and Map are available for a few £'s as a download from our web site. You can of course choose to do parts of the battle.
Funny. Every refight of Waterloo, no matter the rules, no matter if its minis, boardgames or computer, the French almost allways win. Benefit of hindsight? Lack of Napoleonic hemmeroids? Shortage of Wellesley for the allies?
I know this is an old video, but very much enjoyed. I've ordered the Austerlitz scenario as its a battle uve always wanted to fight.

Great job!
I am such a big fan of DBN. How many stand a side do you need to play Waterloo roughly?
Hi Mr Elliptific, French total 46 Combat Units, Allies 44, Prussians 27
Wow, that's a lot of units. The full OOB. It looks less in the video. Did you play with all the stands?

Great looking game! And it looks like you got to a conclusion and enjoyed the process. Thx 4 posting!
Thanks 1814. That is the essence of DBN "get to a conclusion and enjoy the process" every time with DBN. A wargame for wargamers.
