The AI is a great idea for L2. I look forward to seeing how it develops. Some rules comments. There is no bounce-though if the arty and targets are on different elevations. The Heavy arty ignores fortification (so hits on the usual 4+) but the re-roll of 1s for them is only for canister.
Great video as always, for a very good and entertaining RUclips Chanel. I just bought this set of rules as well as Fire & Fury but I usually play Black Powder with my Sons. Could your AI be able to be adapted to Black Powder? I am very much interested in this idea. Also will you continue teaching and playing Fire & Fury? Cheers and stay Health and well.
Hi , thanks for the feedback. Yes I think Black Powder would be a good game for an AI , it's sort of setup for an AI with random nature of the dice command rolls. You could give the AI brigades their orders and then a table of bonus actions/reactions to mix things up. I will be returning the Fire and Fury for sure , but I finally got my copy of "Age of Eagles" the Napoleonic Fire and Fury , so I might give that a run too. Too many games and not enough time ...
@@CreakyGamersHistorical Age of Eagles is another set of rules that I would like to try. You should do a Rule set comparison discussion video of all of these sets of rules. I would be interested in that. Cheers
Great show. I love the AI too. Very useful. Are the cards for the Commanders borrowed from another game? If not you ought to have a chat with Sam Mustafa and get some professionally produced as I would certainly buy a set and I'm sure they'd be popular. Looking forward to the next installment.
Thanks I made the cards myself so we can choose our General’s intervention ability before a game and use the card as reminder. Then I got the idea to give the AI brigade commanders an advanced ability each , just to make things a little more challenging to play against. Then I also get to put my brother fade Chemo meander models on the table.
Thanks for that - I now have a copy safely awaiting my next solo effort with Lasalle. I played a game against an opponent yesterday (Battle of Noordkerk - French [me] v Prussians. It went on longer than expected (both of us learning the rules) but I think I just about had the advantage when we finished. The rules are great - some unusual mechanics but they provide great entrertainment and challenge the mind.
Another good video for learning LaSalle!
BIG compliments on the graphics , well done all round ! Look forward to every episode .
Great video! You definitely set a standard for how good battle report videos can be. Certainly a goal I am reaching for.
Thanks 👍
GRAPHIC EXCELLENT

Great ideas. How this board with the orders and the die roll modifier work _;
Will you be sharing your more advanced AI with us when it is done?
It’s still a work in progress.

@@CreakyGamersHistorical Tried to access this but only one page of the PDF file appeared. Would I be allowed to download the entire AI?
Yes , no worries I;ll try and find the files on my shed computer , I thought I had uploaded the latest version. I will check.
