This is absolutely disgusting of the parents to totally gaslight the younger daughter in favor of the older daughter! They are despicable excuses for human beings.
She did mention she looks different than the rest of the family. It was mentioned in another comment, and makes sense. What if she was a product of an affair, and both parents resent her because of that?
in most of these stories you see the romantic partners cheat on their significant others and what not, but these two people were literal soulmates, and the husband wasn’t even main character but still had such a likable personality, and i was rooting for both of them along the way!!! she truly married her best friend + they were a team the whole story
Sooooo what would have happened if the sister walked down the aisle? Would they have him married the other sister instead? These parents are so ridiculous. The husband is a genius though. He sure likes to see hell burn down 😂😂😂
i was assuming theyd just have her walk her down the aisle then sit her down. ofc, knowing the sister, she'd probably make some grand scene to "confess her love" to OP's fiancée and try to paint OP like some witch of a woman in front of everybody, but whos to say?
That's what I'm wondering, she's not getting married, has no groom so what's the point of walking down the aisle in a gown? If anything it seemed like the poor excuse for parents just wanted to do this to spite OP, cause golden child would actually look more ridiculous than she already does (If even possible.)
I heard that narcissist people think that what they want is what everyone will accept and nothing is wrong. Even if their reputation is destroyed in the process
The absolute disgusting actions of the Golden Child from story 1. The Parents had basically decided they only loved one, and couldn't say no. Their actions to spoil made it so they were slaves to a child who got good grades so rarely they had to celebrate them. And the wedding day revenge was 10/10. It's just beautiful.
I don't find it to be a believable story. It's like a fanfiction of every bad sibling story ever. I mean, it's a good story, but not one that really happened.

The family members that actually saw the sister in the wedding dress and parents acusing the OP's husband, the whole scene pretty much insures that the family will be in OP's and her husbands camp going forward.
Story 1. I found out at age 69 why my mother hated me my whole life. Not that she didn’t hate my brother too. He has physical scars. I did a DNA test because I thought I was adopted or otherwise acquired and found I wasn’t related to dad. She’d had an affair with her best friend’s husband. Wonder if this isn’t the problem here.
I have two daughters with a very similar age gap, mine are very small right now (1st grade and kindergarten) and I just cannot fathom how anyone could ever treat their kids this way....
2nd story: I already knew something was up with the husband when OP started describing how her husband gave her flowers everyday - *that prick was lovebombing her*
At first i was like it just sounds like normal cheating stuff until WE GET TO KNOW THEIR AGES???? LIKE WTF DO U MEAN UR MARRIED TO A 40 WHILE BEING ONLY 23?? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?? DID THEY KNOW EACH OTHER BEFORE?? HOW TF DID SHE MARRY HIM???
Hubby in S1 is such a delight. He's living for all the drama! He's totally enjoying the tea PIPING HOT. And he's an absolute Team Wife which is amazing. OP should marry him again))
They should renow their vows down the line and try to convince the sister to show up in a wedding dress but actually allow her to enter the ceremony before having security escort her out just to add a cherry on top of the already perfect marriage they have😂😂
Last story: I would still get a DNA test to be 100% sure. If they lied about their current relationships. They definitely can lie about previous relationships.
I really don’t see the problem with the last story. Like I get the parents being surprised at first but I don’t see how it would really be… that weird? Especially if they have no plans to go public about their poly relationship. I dunno.
Most poly people I know are fairly normal folks. My friend has a bf and a gf and their relationship seems healthy and balanced. I could never be with more than one person at a time, but if it works for someone else I support it
I think it was crappy to hide this relationship. If it isn't shameful, then they should have told the kids a sanitized version whet they got to high school at least. I also 100% believe this story. If this was some semi-erotic short story, written for fun, every generation would have been in on the secret, with 3-4 generations of inter-bred b.s.
As someone in a poly lifestyle themselves, I think its pretty shitty to put that hypocrisy on their kids. As long as they aren't blood relatives planning on having offspring, who cares?

I’ve heard of other relationships that age range that’s worked beautifully. They only work when both parties have life experience before they get together. Otherwise, it’s a power imbalance that hurts one party. The husband in story one went after a young girl to control her. I hope that she’ll be okay.

Age gaps CAN work BUT I steongly believe that its a matter of for how long they have been an adult. Is not the same having a 12 yrs of age gap with a 18 instead of a 28 years old
So the last story is pretty much the polar opposite of Romeo & Juliet since the families were f***ing not fighting, no one died, and they are happily living their college lives together. Pretty much the only thing the two stories have in common is they each have a twist of irony. It literally has no resemblance to the Hatfields and the McCoys whatsoever.

Her sister is crazy!! My male cousin insisted that he had to get married before his younger brother.. who had been with his girlfriend (now wife) since middle school.. I swear it was like something took over my cousin when he found out that they were finally getting married after they graduated college.. he started dating like a feral beast on the hunt 🤣🤣 when he met his now wife all any of us could think is how and why because she is nothing like him and hates most things about him.(He is very nerdy obsessed with zoology and loves hunting, One of his life dreams is to own a massive farm. Sorry because I miss seeing this) She was crying hysterically because her soon to be Sister-In-Law "upstaged" her in a nude/pinkish dress that was very plain.. The collar was to her collar bones. The length was past her knees and she was wearing the most basic flats.. And her engagement ring... That my cousin the younger one saved 2 years for... So the older of the boys had his wedding like a month before the younger one and the whole time at the older one's wedding. Damn near his bride was crying... The younger brother and the upstager (she was not) Left after only being there for like an hour... She felt so bad... Apparently it wasn't only the dress though. Did you know that bridesmaids are actually pretty much guards to the bride, for example, if anyone comes up in a white dress, the bridesmaids are allowed to spill red wine on them and they can also work as bodyguards if they want to.they are allowed to tackle people
It takes time to forgive. Yet you can forgive. If you really love him and he loves you and he really wants to work on your marriage try your best. Don't not try just because all other people tell you to dump him. He came clean with you, he didn't hide it in the long run. He does need to take responsibility for his other child also. I am glad that you are working on your marriage. It is sad that the other woman let herself get into the situation she did . Oh my God he cheated again. I think you need to take him to the cleaner.
My parents were 15 years apart in age and I’ve never seen a happier more loving marriage. They were deeply in love for thirty years right until the day my dad passed.
The part about parents celebrating good grades for the one child but not for the one who normally has good grades.... man, I certainly identify with OP on that one! My mom would put papers with a D minus of the wall from my brothers, but I just got punished if I brought home anything less than an A. She said that was fair become I "was just born smarter". No... I just studied hard a d did all my class work instead of throwing it away before getting home. They did that so they could go play instead of doing homework!!!
This is beautiful, OP I’m so sorry this happened to you, but I’m so happy you found love, Mozel Tov! Second OP, I’m so sorry your husband did this to you, my heart hurts for you.
This story hits really hard. 😭. As someone who is struggling to have children, I can't imagine ever treating a child like that. Let alone being that.. Children are little miracles and should be loved, treated with kindness and guided. Not mentally or physically abused, they can't defend themselves that young.

That was YOUR day! I’m glad you took your power back! 💪
Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss 💅🏻
The husband in 1st story is a slayy!!!!!
I freaking love the husbands pettiness 😂😂
Did you know that bridesmaids are actually pretty much guards to the bride, for example, if anyone comes up in a white dress, the bridesmaids are allowed to spill red wine on them and they can also work as bodyguards if they want to.they are allowed to tackle people
I really hope the couple from the last story get married. That'd be the best ending.
I love the husband and friend wanting to stir drama🤣🤣
I've heard story 1 before and I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I'm glad it popped back up.
My parents were 15 years apart in age and I’ve never seen a happier more loving marriage. They were deeply in love for thirty years right until the day my dad passed.
“Oh eww stop that gross go away” 😂😂😂
17:02 I genuinely want to know why the fuck these people genuinely thought this was acceptable
The husband is a being of chaos. I love it.
So AMAZING!! I LOVE IT
Story #1 was delightful 😂. Sweet revenge 😂
This is beautiful, OP I’m so sorry this happened to you, but I’m so happy you found love, Mozel Tov!
Second OP, I’m so sorry your husband did this to you, my heart hurts for you.
Oh my golly. The graphics on the stories are so distracting. I felt like I was suffering from travel sickness and vertigo.
This story hits really hard. 😭. As someone who is struggling to have children, I can't imagine ever treating a child like that. Let alone being that..
Children are little miracles and should be loved, treated with kindness and guided. Not mentally or physically abused, they can't defend themselves that young.
