The perfect camera is the one ships right away when you order it, LOL. Great video guys, and looking forward to getting my X100 VI someday. Thanks for sharing.
I preordered the X100VI. IBIS is long overdue. The GRiii had it three years ago and that is a much smaller body. There are a lot of features in the VI. Nice to have them. I am a photographer and won’t take advantage of video very much. 40MP is nice to have. I don’t Crop very much so 26MP is OK. Other than IBIS I’d be happy with the X100V. Probably Fuji has a strategic choice to make between a new battery or an ibis without messing up with the size of the X100 size and weight. They chose ibis. Can't have everything
True. Some compromises were made to keep the body the same size, but the next question would be could they make a higher capacity battery that’s the same size?
They chose something nobody needs to take a photo over battery life. Let's you know fuji really has lost their way. The rest of this camera is internet hype.
@@carlosmcse Non sense. Fuji has a strong momentum and focus going into 2024. It's not Fuji fault that X100v exploded in popularity among TikToker. Ibis is a useful feature to have to prevent blurry photos. The new chip also makes the battery a bit more efficient
@@carlosmcse have they? Forget the RUclips photography community for a minute, does the average person care where it’s made as long as it works? Why the anti-China sentiment. From what I've read ... 23 = 35mm equivalent 40 MP, croping to 50mm equivalent goes down to 25 MP, then croping to 70mm equivalent goes way down to 10 MP ... may as well get a smart phone? Am I getting this right? I will not get one if this is the case. Am I seeing this wrong?
Hmm well you can do that math but that would apply to any camera under 60mp. Alternatively you can get the converters so you don’t lose out on any of the resolution.
Given that this is a "street photography" camera and you prefer to have sharp images of your subjects, then IBIS is redundant in those scenarios. My V is more than enough. Enjoy your VI😊
I would love to see that exceptional piece of photographic art that could only be achieved with the help of IBIS. It has to be the most amazing photograph ever seen by any human being if it justifies permanently and irreversibly crippling a photography tool with a feature that sacrifices image quality for convenience while barely having any use case. Imagine the burden an artist would have to take on if he would have to actually put any effort into his creation process by using a proper technique or utilizing an appropriate accessory if stability is cruicial for the outcome...
@@btonelli It's a serious question. How good are those pictures actually to make people believe they can't live without them anymore? Do they justify at all forcing manufacturers to not only completely and permanently give up the single most reliable concept of stabilization that IBIS will never be able to replace anyway no matter what, but also doing it a the cost of sensor performance (and many other factors as well)? It seems like people are more concerned about impressive spec sheets than they are about the quality of their photography.
IBIS isn’t going to make one a better photographer, it’s a tool to help get photos where someone might struggle due to slower shutter speeds, low light etc. people survived without it for years but like all technology it’s there to help if and when you need it.
