    The last part is a little confusing I am having trouble playing both F E E D at the same time as F A C A C A

    • @siegpasta
      @siegpasta 7 лет назад +109

the trick is simple, watch carefully how he is timing each press on F E E D with the keys he is playing with his left hand, this is NOT rythm. Since you should, in theory be able to play this at any pace. BUT. YOU NEED to get the TIMING right!
For example; you should play F when he plays C
      E when he plays F
E when he plays A sharp
      D when he plays D
if you do it correctly you should be left with
      Sharp A
      D
      Sharp A
its really hard to explain via text like this.. but hope you got some help out of this at least!

hi! I'm a teenager practicing this piece, I just had a random burst of motivation after 5 months of not playing the piano because of school stuff:'( I started practicing yesterday and I finally got through this lesson just today! I am actually proud of myself for finishing 4 lessons now and I thank myself for being a fast learner and at the same time- keeping my fire in playing- burning 🔥
my goal is to finish this piece in just a week, but I wouldn't be hard on myself since this is a really difficult piece. if I'm being honest, you made learning this piece so much easier.
I'll be back next week, wish me luck! good luck to others, too. and thank you again, Steve!

The nice thing about this song, is that it increases in difficulty as you proceed from the first to third movement. I suggest continuing to improve your proficiency with the first movement as you begin learning the second movement (this lesson). Being able to play the first movement well is enough to impress many people with your piano playing, and it means that you are already a decent piano player. Go through this second movement slowly and carefully - just add a few notes each day. Once you can play this part of the piece, you will have accomplished something that most people never will.

This part would probably be easier if you had hand independence. I came back here after earning a little bit of hand independence and now I can do this part. You should probably watch a tutorial on hand independence or tell your music teacher to teach it. One easy way is to select two different scales which you know the first five notes of, then play the first five notes of both of them at the same time e.g- c major in the right hand and g major in the left hand. Then play two notes in the left hand while playing one note in the right hand. After you have completed that excercise you can switch and play two notes in the right hand while playing one note in the left hand. Finally, try to do both of them together.

I am going to share the secret that I learned from one hour of experimenting,How the the left and right are related at 7:18 ,do the following:
Capital letters for Left ,small letters for right hand and bracket means together:
      fa(cF) ACA (Cf) A e(eF) A#(Dd)A#DA
Hope it helped. It definitely made it far easier for me.Give a like if it worked.
What do you think of this?

Okay, it seems like no one here knows what their talking about. The reason you seem to progress faster is because your skipping many needed steps. Mainly how to read sheet music and music theory. This is why you seem to progress faster, but someone who takes lessons eventually will catch up to you and zoom right ahead. Another thing is that a teacher will correct your mistakes because this video doesn’t give feed back on musicality, hand position etc
