CGPA is a measure of how much you can cram your academic subjects but doesn't add anything to your skills. Skills are acquired through courses,internships or working on a product
it also shows you are hardworking
U get good CGPA if you study your college courses properly. So it totally depends on your college and your field of interest whether good CGPA matters or not.

1. Study extremely hard by giving up extracurriculars and other skills like students do in JEE
2. Make good contacts, have a big/good network and work as team while giving exams, then along with having a good CGPA you will also have time for extracurriculars and other skills.
I am doing my engineerin(ec) from one of the worst colleges in India..south India...and its so bad that..i wudnt be surprised if oir college gets closed...and like hardly 5 percent from our college students get placed...with very basic payment ..of 2 to 3 lpa..so what will give me hope? To continue pursuing engg?
Yes... complete it....After completing college invest atleast 1-2 years in self improvement and self building and learn skill and approach bigger companies after that till then have patience and keep working...All the best brother👍👍👍👍
