Pressuring oneself to be something or pursue financial success, where all that is gained is lost in death, also causes existential crisis. Better to find a good medium of growth and enjoyment, relative financial stability, and allow the way you sustain yourself to provide more benefit to the world than what you take, as the world will still exist but you will not. The egoic journey of self focus is the core existensial issue. The pressure we feel to achieve that harms us when we do not is the battle between what we know is true, the inevitability of death, and of course the lie of social status and wealth accumulation. The lie that we are special or important, or could be, in a world where we are all of the same substance, the same value, and all will die in time is simply that. Live not for the lie, but live in peace, harmony, and sustain yourself and others. Be happy with little and be grateful, embrace nature, and have a beer on the beach friends.
Perhaps it isn't about gaining anything, or reaching any particular destination, but the actual process of becoming somebody, of achieving success. Perhaps a more worthwhile life to live is that in which one encounters but successfully overcomes many obstacles (and gets rewarded for overcoming those obstacles with wealth, accolades, success) than one in which one is easy-going, just having a peaceful conflict-less life. Think about why we are on this earth. We are not on this Earth to harbour as much as we can for ourselves, that much I am confident you are correct about. A life spent in the blind chase of material goodies could very well be a wasted one. But we also aren't here to abide in tranquility and peacefulness, our evolutionary instincts exist to propel us forward, towards never-ending expansion. Find a way to change your job. I was in a similar position a few years ago, working nights for a few days then working during the day for the next few days. Everything was out of order for me back then. This changed when I changed my job and decided for job with a regular schedule. All the best to you!
