@@thomasolek8836 I'm debating whether to stay with the factory mounts or replace them when I do my control arm kit in prep for the move to 35's with my tj. Ruff Stuff has some really good looking mounts that I'm eyeballing. I'd fab them, but don't have the shop space currently and their stuff looks great. Currently on a 2.5" spring/shock lift with 33's on stock arms; on the way to 3" full susp. with short arms; 1.25 body and 35's. Good info. Thanks, bud!
@@PNWJEEPER01 I’d definitely replace them. I replaced ours with the Artec HD control arm brackets. I don’t weld important stuff but I got it all prepped and hired a mobile welder to come and burn them on. Gives me peace of mind on the trail and on our trips. Your headed in the right direction with your TJ for sure!
So was that a factory mount or aftermarket that broke? And where?
It was a factory mount and it literally broke in half. We were able to get it welded back together enough to get home!
