Everything went wrong and we weren't prepared but the crew from www.memorial4x4.org/ had our back. This is a first hand look into a worst case scenario that was resolved with a good old fashioned community effort. We decided it was a good idea to go down this trail alone. We quickly found out that was a silly idea and were joined by a great group of guys that chauffeured us through MONEY TALKS. This trail tested our Jeep driving abilities but the Jeep keeps making big trails seem small. MORRISON JEEP TRAIL with the Wrangler LJ.. Day 1
Great job with the camera and narration.
Lead driver 🤡🤦♂️
I enjoyed this video. Your Jeeps are more like the common jeeper doing real world Offroading. Not the extreme Offroad with $100,000 rigs. I really enjoyed this. Please keep filming and uploading content like this. Thanks.
How are those rockhard 4x4 sliders holding up
Enjoyed Video ..I believe the winner of this challenge was both of you. Driving thru this trail without any damages to vehicles and taking in the scenery.
I have an 02 TJ with 33s and a 2" lift with a 1.25" body lift and I think it could do this. Thered probably be some scraping on the sliders though because its on the lower side than yours lol. Will be going with 35s and a 3" lift with the body lift at some point. Has an antirock front sway bar too.
I hat year is the LJ? Curious how it has a 3.6 v6 in it. Never mind. I guess if I would have kept watching the video before I commented I would know. 😂
Love it!
Looks like another great technical trail with epic views. Found another trail in your videos to add to the list! Thanks!!
Two years late to the comments here but great video. Looks like an awesome trail with some beautiful scenery and epic views on switchbacks! Gonna have to add this to the Wyoming bucket list!!
Nice Video👍 We did the Mesabi Trail this summer for the first time and it was blast💥

👍👍👍👍👍, Hope all is good, it has been 10 months since your last Vlog.
Do the Jeep Wrangler LJ have front and rear disc brakes
Yes
I'll never understand why the very first upgrade wouldn't be lockers, front and rear. I was watching some guys that had snorkels on their rigs but no lockers. They were driving in 3'+ deep muddy water and constantly getting stuck.
I’m glad to see new people. Getting out and wheeling. May I make a suggestion. Y’all definitely need to invest in gears and lockers. And a set of high line front fenders. Would help. To just get started. But great job.
Is the bandana on the roll cage like a sexual code thing in the Jeep community?
Up to your imagination
Good job I’m currently building a 97 tj myself. It had a body lift when I got it. I’ve added sliders, a winch, and just purchased a lift, adjustable front track bar, Novak shift cable, and sway bar disconnects. I’m pretty stoked about the build and can’t wait to get it on the trails
First video I’ve seen and definitely I subscribed!! Keep it up with the adventures!! Love your Jeep the TJs !!
was this a one day event type thing or is this open year round?
One day event. Coming around again in March. Look up www.memorial4x4.org/mngo4events for detail for this year.
I’ve got almost the same thing…. 3.5” lift, 35’s. But mine has Poison Spyder rock sliders and 4.88 gears. Those are two things I highly recommend. Fortunately for me, it had the sliders and gears when I bought it. Good looking L’j !
Would you recommend Gilbert / Mesabi in the winter when there's snow on the ground ? Or wait till spring? I have a Rubicon, 100% stock.
Mesiabi no, gilbert you can play around if you know your limitations.
If you’re still wondering the Little Rock things are called inukshuk. Sick video cheers
she's fine
Super LJ ...!! Nice video 👍
Always interesting video . Super Jeep, and also the Toyota maked a good job ! 👍
Hello boy and girl ! Really good adventure. Awesome video. Nice the your Jeep, is the first time i see the model LJ ! I never knew this beautiful model. Nice places to go for adventure, and really good preparation for the LJ !👏👍 Greetins to all of four (also to two friendly dogs) from Robert(n/w Italy) . 👋👋 Ps. I have a '97 TJ 4.0 red Jeep, two little dogs (yorkshire) and 26 cats. (Country Living) 🐕 😊 🐈
Legit trail and driving! Love those step ups and rock gardens!
Thanks you! It is legit for sure
Looks badass!! I just learned about this trail today when I was up at the OHV park! They told me it’s a 6 hour run!
We are going there next week. Was curious how long it would take. Thanks!
Just got home from there today! These vids give ZERO perspective on how steep those hills are. I have a rubicon on 37”s and a manual transmission, the engine braking was amazing. Somehow I never stalled it. Lockers make a world of difference also. Good video👌🏽
Do you think a power wagon would fit on those trails?
The power wagon would fit on some of the trails for sure.
@@thomasolek8836 oh ok great!
Got the ones that bolt to the frame
This was so fun to watch. You guys are hysterical!
Thanks guys! We're headed up there to check Mesabi Mountain and Iron Range out for the first time in a couple weeks. When was this filmed? To answer the who won question, I'd have to say the win goes to the front locker in the Jeep.
It was filmed 9/4 so it shouldn’t be much different for you when your there. The locker is magical, such a great upgrade. Enjoy the trail!
How much it cost the front locker.? Amd what kind of lift you have? Mine is also a black LJ and I'm only on 2" lift , I'm afraid of getting the wrong lift kit.
I did the front locker and front and rear gears at the same time. It was about $3800 out the door. Id go with a 3 inch lift and high line fenders with a belly up kit if I was building but this is a 4” rough country lift that was installed by previous owner so I just wheel it. I did upgrade to billstien 5100 shocks though.
@@thomasolek8836 yes , my goal is to fit 35s and re gear 4:88s . My LJ is auto. Will do a lift kit with fox shocks.
Great video , keep more coming ! 👏
great video..
What size tires are you running on the LJ?
35" cooper
@@thomasolek8836 nice. Did you do anything to beef up the Dana 30 up front?
I haven’t. A truss and c gussets are on the list though.
What type and what size drill did you use to drill through the tub. Ordered mine this morning and just want to be prepared.
5/16 drill bit is required for install per the installation manual. I think any hardware store that sells bits will have what you need.
Also what life/ tire combo are you running
The exhaust is the banks monster kit and it’s one a 4” lift with 35” tires. It works well
What exhaust are you running
Tire size?
35” Cooper
Your front lower control arms are upside down. Flip em over so they are bent up. They are meant for high clearance
where was the location saw an i state tire cover im in iowa
We were in west central Wisconsin. I believe we had some I state alum along for the ride.
