Barbie Rewind Series 80s Edition Doll Review! (Uh… $40?!)

As a kid of the 80’s who grew up with Great Shape Barbie, Date to Night Barbie and Barbie and the Rockers these gave me all the nostalgia feels. I just wish they would have given them the old shoot upper body.. the made to move mixed with the bend and snap was strange to me but I do love these. 💕 the 80’s and 90’s were definitely Barbies Golden Age!

I do admit that "old school" barbies were way better than the late ones mattel has make the past 2 or 3 years? , so these are a must have !

This is fantastic just watched a show about Barbie. It says her full name is . Also I read that Ruth Handler is credited with the creation of the doll using a German doll called Bild Lilli as her inspiration.

Dom, I agree....these Barbies are fantastic (except for Career Girl, but only because I hate the Superstar face mold). And even though I was a kid in the eighties and back then (and now) hated the garish styles of the day, I love these dolls for the nostalgia and because they are quality representations of how girls really looked! And don't pay $40 dollars people...do what Dom and I did and wait for a sale....and they will go on sale...

I’m so sad, I got the blonde one for 10 dollars on a sale at Walmart and the night out barbie for 15 , the African American one I did not want to get because ever since they cancelled the African queen christie , I have not gotten any of the cheap replacements . Barbie can have 10 white friends but 2 African American dolls is too much for the line at 2006-7 decided I guess, but it was 10 bucks , I should have just gotten it to complete the collection , it’s sold out now and 33 and there is no way I’m paying 30-40 for a doll that is not Christie , the blonde one got the superstar facemold , she should have gotten the superstar Christie face mold, there doesn’t even exist a superstar Asha one so nvm I’m not sad anymore, curse you Mattel , the queen will always be your most gorgeous African American doll
