You are correct...there is a big difference between Trump and Biden. Biden was VICE President with no ability to declassify documents and Trump was PRESIDENT and was the only person with the authority to declassify.
Trump got his documents while president protected by secret service. Biden got his while he was a senator and vice president. That is quite a difference.

Merrick Garland appointed him to oversee the United States department of Justice investigation into President Joe's alleged mishandling of classified documents during his time as vice president. Apparently he came to the DOJ for this one task. He'll probably go back to the firm where he was a partner. He has an excellent reputation so I would not worry about him.
He wasn't working for DOJ, he was appointed as a special counsel. He did his job now he's done, he goes back to work at his own business/partnership.

It depends on the context, republicans are very malleable depending on if it involves one of their own or not. In regards to Trump and his multiple attempts at obstructing justice/keeping classified documents, republicans will change the subject every single time and not answer it directly. In regards to Biden keeping classified documents, they want him impeached, criminally charged and imprisoned.
The real irony is them endorsing someone for president who has done this and worse while also attempting to impeach the sitting president for it. This should be the glaring red flag to folks. Personally, I don’t care who it is - if someone is knowingly committing crimes, then I would want them charged irregardless of their political affiliation.

4) Prosecutors are clairvoyant and have the ability to read jurors’ minds and predict their verdicts, even before a jury is even chosen or a single bit of evidence is presented in a courtroom.

Who destroyed evidence? I mean yeah, traitor flushed docs down toilet and had "burn bags" taken to Pentagon to erase evidence, but he hasn't even been on trial yet. BTW, Biden wasn't "CAUGHT", he could of easily kept quiet and no one would of known about the few docs he had, but he came forward as did Pence, both allowed FBI searches of their homes, didn't need a search warrant. Now look at traitor's case, he had people loading boxes of docs onto jet so he could move them out of the state WHILE the FBI were requesting/looking for them. If, President Biden is guilty of some imagined impropriety, in respect to certain information contained in his personal note books, than former president Reagan was guilty as well--isn't he? Sure. Further, in respect to former president Donald Trump retention of Classified and Top Secret documents, these recovered by the DOJ clearly weren't notebooks (but, documents: a majority of which, were still in there folders), according to Federal Investigators. There lay the false equivalency posed by Chairman Jordan: between personal presidential notebooks (containing sensitive declassified materials) and RAW top secret and classified documents that WERE NOT properly declassified--and known by Trump, to not be declassified (as he confided to a journalist that was present, waving the document before her). Jordan is playing up to a select sound-bite--trusting the audience will not see the whole presentation and weigh those additional facts.
@@democracysdoomsday7905 I don't think the law works that way - that it only applies to management. The handling of documents is obviously the staff's job, Managment doesn't do the filing. In all of those boxes, the FBI came up with 26 classified docs in among the other stored files. It was an oversight, but it still shouldn't happen.
