What do you think of the Creation Club content?
Most of the quests had cool premises and potential but were very diappointing. Some of them brake early game balance and it is annoying to get bombarded by the notifications and quests when you start a new game. I still liked most of them because they added more immersive stuff and tons of stuff to build and I love settlement building.
My only big criticism is how expensive they are even in comparison to DLCs like Wasteöand Workshop... Still I bought every single one, at least I got some little ones for free and discounts for the bigger ones but still it costed dozens of dollars...
I think if you have patience to catch them on sale, there a good handful worth the 1-2 bucks on sale. The 7-9 dollar ones are too much IMHO [does that mean I didn't buy them? No got like 1 or 2 more costly so hypocrite me] That said it's also a matter of access to mods and preference. Overall I think there some fun content in there, but wait till they get a sale for 100-300 credits and then nab em
Cosmic Solar cryo cannon thingy ☠️🥊😃 and the power armour with the jet pack 👍
Nexus did and does all of this, but better. CC is a rip-off.
One point you missed about the Sentinel control system is your AI power armor acts as a second companion, so once you have it, you can have two companions following you at once.
Its just annoying, when in build mode it still keeps on following you. Its not automatic. Good mode still
That is very true, great point.
This is cool! Never knew about this! Thanks for the information.
Does it count towards the Lone Wanderer perk like dogmeat, or like a regular character
@@ConradDubya the sentinel armor doesn’t count as a companion regarding Lone Wanderer apparently.
The sentinel AI also doesn’t count as a “companion,” so you can use it with another companion or alone and it doesn’t count against your lone wanderer. It’s also possible to get it pretty early on in survival mode if you’re willing to cheese the fights with a sniper rifle, and it’s VERY helpful for it.
Thanks for the tip
Just a little FYI, the 10mm Pistol in the Tunnel Snakes Rule CC mod is actually the one from Fallout 1 and 2, weirdly enough. It;s the Colt 6520, while the one in Fallout 3 is the N99
For me the best part about the Neon Flats is that there’s a secret room where you can get elder maxsons outfit but it’s all black. It’s the only outfit I’ve used since I found that out lol
For survival players on console, I would say the sentinel power armour and backpack make it a different game entirely. Where combat is still enjoyable, but your settlements don’t suffer from your carry weight limitations. For me, 85 carry weight doesn’t cut it for my play style, as I spend a good chunk of time building and chilling in settlements
The Sentinal Armor doesn’t count as a follower, meaning it’s a free Tank. It consumes ammo (unlike actual follower) but it seems to use the SuperMutant melee combat rules. I’ve seen it pick ghouls and raiders up by the throat while dog meat gnawed and I enjoyed my Lone Wanderer perk bonuses.
Give it Big Jim, the Alien Probe, or a sledge hammer; kit it out with armor spikes/tesla coil power frame pieces and watch it work.
The Settlement Ambush CC is amazing for one simple reason in vanilla runs: snappable walls. Being able to build a 12ft wall around my settlement w/o mods or cheats is fucking aces.
Something to note about the armors and clothes from creation club is that most if not all actually accept ballistic weave.
Except for the Pint Size Clown costume. When I got it and saw that I can't put weave in it I just made Marcy wear it because it fits her.
Any headwear that you can add it to, because there are only 4 usable hats in the base game normally?
@@triedtherest It's been a while since I've tracked down all the creation club outfits but creation club doesn't really add many headwear options, the skyrim helmet and doom helmet have their own upgrades and I'm not sure about the capital wasteland stuff, although there is an outfit that makes you're legs disappear when you wear it so that's kinda funny.
Something that would be cool to do is a Notice Board you can put in your settlements.
These could be used for CC quests instead of all just appearing
AND it could add some of Prestons quest to it too so that when he comes towards you you don't automatically know what he's about to say haha
Obviously other than as Mod this wont happen as Betheda are kinda done adding extra stuff to fallout unless it makes them money
I have the VR workshop, but I never paid for it. Spectacle Island is full of palm trees, tiki bars, beach chairs and beach umbrellas.
The VR pod is great for survival players, as you can store everything you want in the VR world and access it at any settlement by building a pod.
Thanks 4 tip
I'm ashamed to admit I own everything except the dog changer from the CC, but I will say to anyone that has the prototype gauss rifle, the classic 10mm, bfg9000, the crl74, the solar cannon, and the NV AMR from the CC. Captainoob (a RUclipsr who reviews weapon mods) has some great improvement mods for those above weapons.
I bought the dog changer from the CC, just for the Hotweiller skin, but it no longer works and i can't access the CC, the menu option is no long avaiable since this "next gen update"! plus, the purchased content i had, is not avaiable anymore!
@@hackjuniordfdog skin still works my brother, you just need to change it at an armor stand before equipping it to dog meat
I love the backpack its awesome i totally agree with you but i do wish we had more options for the style like having a rustic leather one or something weird and wastelandish like a repurposed gas tank ? Or a deathclaw head
You’ve got good videos dude, definitely subbed and I hope you keep making more… and above all hopefully you make your money back on buying all the creation club stuff 😂
Just so you know, the transdogrifier has more dog breeds available by taking the collar to the armor bench
The backpack and the marine armor makes you look like a badass.
There is a mod that makes it so the quests only pop up when you're near them. That's more like it.
Are the settlement ambush kit cameras fixed?
Neon Apartments are from the Institute, I believe.
Oddly, you can also get the Good Fighters as Settlers...
In Survival the Sentinel CC is simply the best, hard to get until you level up and be prepare for a fight, but once you get it you can equip it with the most repair cost effective armors, without ever worrying about repairing, nanites will do it for you (most precisely they will maintain the level you equip the Sentinel), simply meaning they won't degrade when equipped on Sentinel. Most CC opponents are really though in Survival, because their damage taken is not aligned with the survival settings, and the opponents in Sentinel CC are really challenging in survival.
That engraved pistol is sexy goddam!
Just a note: The Settlement Ambush Kit is ESSENTIAL for survival mode. Looking at another settlement counts as "being there" in terms for winning raids. Anyway, great list, really appreciate it. I find most CC content to be really cool, just overpriced. Which is why I've been slowly collecting free or discounted items while I play Fallout 3.
When you say winning the raids, does it count for those alarm quests that x settlement is being raided? If it counts, I might purchased in the future.
@@MrPenetroso Yup, those. If you have a camera in settlement A and it gets raided but you're in settlement B, using the computer screens to look at A counts. Amazing for survival mode, but takes a lot of setting up.
Thanks! I was on a 15$ budget and wanted to buy the best possible ones. Ill subscribe 😁
The arcade cabinets are glitched since the update, before they had animated screens, now they're just black
Vr is my favoite why cause I can ship guns and armour to any settlement
After buying a few and activating them all it broke my Automatron DLC so no clue which one broke it so I had to delete the game and re install to disable them all
Automatron is broken in general with the new update, game will constantly crash after you beat it. They've addressed this and said it's getting patched "soon"
@@yakuzashibe Ive had no crashes with Automatron on PS5 vanilla
Tunnel snakes rule breaks the museum of freedom quest. Make sure you only install it after the quest.
That one at the beginning with Preston?
Slocum Joe's is fun, for survival mode.
Oxhorn does a good job going through all of the creation club CONTENT.
He really does. I've always loved oxhorn's video way back when he played WoW
Highly recommend waiting for them to go on sale. I have most of them. Have never paid full price. Lot of times they are even free. Just check it every week.
Hi, i'm playing on PC (Microsoft store version) and have no more option to access creation club content (not even purchase stuff). The menu entry to CC is no longer avaiable after the "next gen update"! How do i fix this to be able to access my content or purchase new?
I downloaded fallout 4 on PC last night and noticed the same thing.
I need that one to turn dogmeat black then it'll be like I'm running round with my old dog
The backpack is overrated doesn't stack with power armor
Fun Fact: if you don't want to buy skins, you get 2 to 3 for free every month. So if you check every month you might get all the skins for free by the end of the year.
pc is bug? i cant see Creation Club
Same on ps5
Same
Is anyone else having trouble installing the virtual workshop on ps5? I keep getting an error installing it since the update.
I just reinstalled it myself I have 95% of CC content. Go to purchased tab at the end of main menu and redownload all CC content you own individually no bundles go back to main game menu about every 5-10 downloads to let system download them. When finished hard start the system and clear the cache. See if that helps.
@@seanwaller5241 thank you. I’ll give it a try
I had it on pc. Had to delete all the .ini files from the game and reinstal! I had only the vault tec workshoping working, the other two were instaled but did not work at all). Now i just cant accesse the Creation Club
The backpack needs balistic weave.
Lol I'm lv126 playing on very hard mobs still do little damage to me with my kitted-out legendary Vault 88. Which can be customized with the vault suit pack. The backpack with Ballistic weave would be op.
Backpack no need balistic weave, stop play melee without power armor unless it's low lvl creeps. You have guns for that.
@@SaShA6572 Power Armor triggers my Claustrophobia..
How much did it cost you?
Thats in the video :)
@@norzza yeah, i whatched it lol, i forgot to edit my comment
Everything *thanos voice*
120usd
@@norzzaJust got everything, it was 180-200 usd, i already had some content and saved money from deals, so i think usd and ausd are closer in value
The best Creation Club Content? Nexus mods. I'm not paying Bethesda for work modders did, while modders keep the games alive. Support modders directly via nexus mods if you can and want to.
If I get mods on there can I do so for console or is it just for PC?
@@rera1386 Just pc, sadly that means console people are getting f-ed again.
I mean if your on pc sure but for console players especially playstation this is the closest they'll get to actual mods since the actual mods in the mod page are extremely limited and restricted tho it's better than nothing
Im having a braindead Nexus moment right now, then again i haven't tried modding Fo4 yet.
What is bro yapping about? You do realize supporting creation club is essentially supporting third party developers and contracted mod authors right?
How pissed are you? VR Workshop has been free for like 2 weeks now…
I'm still not convinced that part of the reason for creation club was to get around playstations bullshit rules with modding on their console, specifically about having to use ingame assets.
I wasted credits on the VR workshop 😭
Nope my favoite 2nd robot
You load up go into vr drop off
Go different settlement and poof weapons etc are there save tons of time
@@matthewgodwin6688 sound 👍💯 nice one bro I didn’t know that 😃 cheers
