Eat it all within 2 days! 😁 I think the tint comes if you keep it in the fridge so maybe find somewhere cool but not refrigerated. I've never had the tint as the family eat it within a couple of days xx

Ok, I tried this with milk chocolate and melted it in a bain Marie with the butter and syrup. However it went all lumpy like the mixture had split. I'm guessing it wouldn't have happened with dark 70% chocolate??

I doubled up all my ingredients, while melting the milk chocolate( I dislike dark ) I noticed it was slightly grainy, not as silky as yours. Any tips ? Wee bit more butter perhaps... Or a dollop of cream? Helppppppp me. ;-)

If I swapped the dark chocolate for milk chocolate, would I still.need to add the golden syrup? Wondered if that might make the mixture too sweet?

I highly recommend adding lightly salted roasted almonds to rocky road. The salt and nuttiness really help balance out all the sweetness.
