I have had blistering at the inside sidewall edge on the More V5 and the Glycerin Max in both my usual size 8 and 8.5, luckily the More V5 offers wide options, however I have never needed a size wide in any shoe, I think that this cradle style of internal foam around the foot in both of these shoes in their construction is probably problematic for a lot of runners. The Glycerin Max has been my favorite shoe of the year, sadly I had to return it due to the injuries it causes. Hoping the release wide options in the future.
I own and rotate between the Magmax. Glycerin Max, Ghost Max, Cloud Monster 2, Neo Vista, Nimbus 25 and Nitro Deviate 2. Magmax is definitely the most comfy, Neo Vista is a close 2nd.
Like other comments - I find the More V5 far too narrow and short. It gives me horrible blisters on the inner arches bilaterally. Superblast 2, Brookes Hyperion 2s, metaspeed sky Paris are all fine shoes for me in my rotation. Initial feeling of the more V5 is fantastic but I just have to retire them because I just can’t get them to work with my feet. I do find them pretty fun to run in being very stable and the rocker adds a nice toe off… I did bottom out a little bit. Either way, I’ve tried everything to make them work and they just can’t for me. Maybe I’ll walk in them…. But they look hideous haha. Disclaimer: they’re fine shoes and notably comfortable upon first feel. They just don’t fit my feet, even that I went on my upper size range (10.5-11, went with 11s).
More v5 very squishy, too much compliance for me. Brooks, feels more forefoot strike, hard to get a good turnover for me. Magmax felt great, heel strike and roll through but almost indentical to glideride max. I'm an Asics Fanboy so went with the later.
@@AlexFilitti I"m really enjoying it, being a fan of the original, it feels a bit softer and heavier and can't do as much tempo as the original but i'm using the Magic Speed 4 for the faster runs. I also prefer the thin magic speed insoles in the the Glideride Max. It firms it up a bit, reduces the compliance a little and inreases the resiliance a tiny amount.
I had that for 1 run and it made me ache all over. Just couldn't get along with it. Had to return it and change for a pair of Cloud Monster 2. Much more comfy but not without its problems.
Merci du commentaire! Ça ne me choque pas (plus longue sortie environ 22kms avec la MagMax) mais c’est effectivement une question de ressenti individuel.
puma mag max no hesitation !!! perfection for lung runs, recovery, whatever to feel bouncy and protected.... kind of novablast but more luxurious !!
Thank Alex. Further confirmation I made the right choice with the Glycerin Max!
It’s my favorite of the 3
Thank you
Yes, you did.
Hi Alex. Great review. FYI MagMax midsole foam is actually a PEBA blend not TPEE as stated.
Thank you!

very interesting Puma MagMax is on my Xmas-list :)
Waiting for a wide Glycerin Max. Had the wide MoreV5 but like others I returned it. Too narrow!

the More v5 is so narrow. i got a wide and it's still too narrow
Very interesting comment, thank you for sharing. Can you let us know what shoes work for you as a comparison point?
I'd have loved it if Puma had filled that midsole with the Nitro elite foam 😁
el precio seria mas elevado con la tecnología nitro elite
The more looks like more of a casual shoe than a running shoe
Why didn’t you take NB Balos instead of NB More?
These are all 40+ stack height shoes. Max. Balos is 38 at the heel.
Which one is best for heavy runner
Glycerin Max

I am very curious about the Glideride Max

My foot runs a little wide, do you think Magmax will work?
Tried them on and the fit is tiny, toes where squeezed together more than anything I’ve worn
Where would the Saucony Hurricane 24 sit amongst these?
I haven’t tried this shoe

which shoe has the widest toebox?
NB has up to Extra wide options
bro.. will you review GlideRide Max.
Puma shoes are so underrated. When they produce one of the best max shoes, people tend to overlook it because of its brand marketing.
Ve4y true, but also some color choices by Puma are questionable. For example MagMax color.
J’ai la magmax. Elle est super, mais le poids me gêne à force. Je ne reprendrais plus de chaussures aussi lourdes.

More v5 too narrow and too tapered toebox
Glideride Max?!
Haven’t tried it!
@@AlexFilitti we will need an update of this battle 😅
You need to!@@AlexFilitti
Skyward X?
Plated which makes it slightly different but yes it could have been here
