Jazzpunk is underrated. The art style is colorful and unique, the humor is like if naked gun was a video game. Very quirky fun experience, I just wish it was longer.
I live for cheesy, deadpan, slapstick comedy. It's such a forgotten art. But Jazzpuck knocks it out of the park! Goes to show that video games are just as viable for visual punnery as movie spoofs. It really captures that absurdist environment that puts you inches away from the next gag without being in your face.
It's interesting to observe how Vinny and Joel played this game, just like how their playstyles in Minecraft are drastically different and produce different kinds of comedy. Vinny is thorough finding as many gags as possible, and Joel breezes through it like a carefree child.
Honestly it makes it kind of hard to enjoy him bumbling about confused. Not to blam him or anything, but he *does* miss a *lot* with the speed he's going and then ends up just confusing himself even further because he won't just slow down and think a little. I feel he'd maybe enjoy the game a little more, too.
I'll admit he didn't miss as much content as I thought he would. Usually when it comes to these types of games he has pee pee poo poo brain and misses 75% of it.

The more I watch Joel play this, the more memories I unlock about it. Yet at the same time, I also realize that I might be conflating this with other similarly bazaar games.

that's actually a pretty decent randy savage impression, they got the annunciation and sheer vigor in his voice down pat 1:05:16 idk about coke but he was on a looooooooot of steroids, in the last few years of his life he deflated like a balloon

I remember playing this when it came out, it's interesting rewatching it now since back then I didn't know hardly any of the computer history/programming references like the Captain Crunch whistle reference and all the programming terminology
