SCRAPPING the CLASSIC Land Cruiser so I can CREATE A NEW ONE!

I throw most of this old fj40 into my scrap metal bin!
Now I have my templates made I cut out the bad and keep what's salvageable (let me tell you there is not much I'm Saving on this one)

@@dadstoygarage1878 you probably need to start with that , it allows you more access to the bottom of the body too (though taking the body of the frame causes the garage space to be twice as full)

@@watahyahknow I’ll be pulling the body off the frame once the tub fabrication is done to do the frame work. I have a deadline I’ve given my self to have the tub done by spring so I can bring my 73 celica home and build and put the motor in it. Next winter the body will come off the fj40 so I can do a complete frame/suspension overhaul.
