My God, people here are triggered by a movie that is inspired by true events. I feel like there are too many americans here who do not know the context and think this is propaganda. It is not. Look up "National Socialist Underground" (NSU): a group of neo-nazis that, from 2000 to 2007, deliberately targeted and murdered nine immigrants, mostly Turks, one police woman, attempted murder in 43 cases and committed 15 robberies. In three cases, they built bombs and let them go off in areas inhabited mostly by Turks. And here is the worst part: the german police ruled out right-wing extremism as a motive without a good reason and instead they investigated the families of the murdered people. What is even worse? Some of these neo-nazis were undercover informants, paid by our own intelligence service, while they commited these crimes. When this came to light, our intelligence service shredded a lot of relevant files. A court ruled that one file needs to be kept under wraps for 120 years (!). We are still not sure how much right-wing extremism is an issue in our own intelligence services, which is horrific to think about knowing our own past. This is a movie directly inspired by these events, something everyone in Germany knows about and thus nobody here sees propaganda in this. Nobody says Islamists don't commit crimes, this is just not a movie about that. This is about immigrants being killed by neonazis, inspired by events that actually took place in this country only 11 years ago.
Diane Kruger is one of the most underrated actress. Been following her career since the first time i saw her in Inglourious Basterds, she gave such terrific performance in every movie she has been in. Love her.....

I really like watching some foreign movies not in the English language sometimes it's really good to take a break from the average Hollywood blockbuster. I really enjoy Polish language movies there is a really good movie called Yuma set during the time just before the fall of communism the fall of the Berlin wall starring the young actor who was in The Suicide Rooms I can't remember his name but he is a fantastic actor.

In 1980, a right-wing terrorist attack in Munich, Germany killed the attacker and 14 other people, injuring 215. Fears of an ongoing campaign of major right-wing terrorist attacks did not materialize.
In addition to several bank robberies, the German National Socialist Underground was responsible for the Bosphorus serial murders (2000-2006), the 2004 Cologne bombing and the murder of policewoman Michéle Kiesewetter in 2007. In November 2011, two members of the National Socialist Underground committed suicide after a bank robbery and a third member was arrested some days later.
Right-wing extremist offenses in Germany rose sharply in 2015 and 2016. Figures from the German government tallied 316 violent xenophobic offences in 2014 and 612 such offenses in 2015.
In August 2014, a group of four Germans founded a Munich-based far-right terrorist group, the Oldschool Society (de). The group, which held racist, antisemitic, and anti-Muslim views, eventually attracted 30 members. They stockpiled weapons and explosives and plotted to attack a refugee shelter in Saxony, but the group's leaders were arrested in May 2015 before carrying out the attack. In March 2017 four of the group's leaders were sentenced to prison terms. The perpetrator of the 2016 Munich shooting (9 dead) also had far-right views.
