This is a cool video but I will add on to things mentioned About the Guide, it is an actual book called A Guide to the Dragon World and comes out on September 1st. 2022. Tui has stated that there will be a story about MudWings in it and that it will address the events of the Scorching. I believe (I haven't checked in a while) that the premise of the book will be that Starflight is trying to updated the guide to the dragons from the beginning of the books. There are Barnes and Nobles editions of many of the books that come with something special, but only two (soon to be three once TFoH comes out) have a special cover, The Lost Continent which is just the cover with Cricket on it, and The Dangerous Gift with the poster of Jerboa and (presumably) Boa. (Jerboa III) The other ones that I know about are The Hive Queen which comes with a colored map of Pantala and The Poison Jungle which comes with buttons. About the "Darkstalker's Choice" one, Tui was told about the fanfiction and she responded with "It is definitely possible that Darkstalker could have been convinced to eat the strawberry especially now that Foeslayer had come back. However, I couldn’t believe that Darkstalker would choose to do it after the moment he spoke to Qibli and tried to tempt him into becoming an animus. I think they could have convinced Darkstalker to eat the strawberry sometime in the future, or if they had more time to do so. However, by then many more dragons would have died." About the wings in Burn's tower, The SilkWing couldn't have used the map since it was not taken out since it was put in the book. My own personally theory is based on one of Blue's thoughts, where he mentions that Burnet's voice was "as sad as the sound of a silk-wrapped corpse slipping into the bay" (or something like that, not an exact quote) which makes me believe that that is what the SilkWings do with their dead rather than burying them. I believe that the wing came from a dead SilkWing who was put in the bay during a storm and had its wing come off and wash up on the shore of Pyrrhia. About Glorybringer, Glory is actually 7, not 8, so they have an age gap of 6 years (Glory was 6 years old when they met for the first time) I'll be your first Wings of Fire fan to like homebase lol :) I think it's funny (Qibli's death sound in the mini game lol-) and they also revealed TDG's full cover there SilkWings are not descended from Clearsight. Only the HiveWings are. And the BeetleWings had flamesilk before Clearsight came to Pantala, so it is impossible that that is where flamesilk comes from. The Darkstalker boyfriend was from when they were both 16, not 15 Sorry to be nit-picky and stuff I just am the type who reads a lot of interviews and whatever and I just wanted to add on to your (already great) video :)
EVEN WEIRDER Wings of Fire fact: All of the plants in the books are actually intelligent life forms with the ability to feel pain! This was confirmed in The Poison Jungle since leafspeakers could hear trees talking about weird stuff happening in the SapWing village, and Sundew talks to plants during the books, apologizing when she accidentally hurts one, being upset by the screams of the burning trees. They aren't super intelligent, but still really weird to think about.
Imagine if seawings didn't have wings tho. Like eveytime Tsunami wanted to fly she'd turn to Clay and be like "It's that time of the day again bitch." -Tsunami who wants to attack the skywing "Not againnnnn..." -a very tired Clay
In regards to the trans Sky theory, though I do personally subscribe to that headcanon, it is not actually biologically impossible for he and Peril to both be cis and also identical twins. As evidenced by their abnormal scale colorations, having too much or too little fire almost certainly has an impact on SkyWing epigenetics. It is known that in many IRL reptile species, heat related epigenetic factors early in embryonic development can influence the expression of the genes that control the development of reproductive anatomy.
@@Anti_Idiot I myself am a teenager, though both my parents work in STEM and I've consequently grown up as something of a nerd. My mom has a biology degree, so that probably has something to do with my interest in the subject matter, though pretty much all the information I gave in the above comment is stuff I learned from RUclips and Wikipedia.
update: hearing that darkstalker was based off of an ex instantly made me think 'Three moons, Tui, what ruthless dictator did you manage to pull in freshman year?' because thats impressive but also i hope he wasnt NEARLY as bad as darkstalker is.
Anyone else insanely curios about what happened to Jerboa II? Like, why is it so horrible that Tui won’t even say? Arctic died completely horribly but she still showed it. I wonder if Jerboas death was more like, physiological horror? Please reply with theories because I am so curious!
If Darkstalker was based off of Tui's ex boyfriend, then Clearsight could be based off of Tui, since Clearsight was Darkstalker's girlfriend, which is pretty cool
I think Tui once mentioned that she wrote Clearsight's future sight similar to how she plans her stories. How there's so many paths she can take with them, like how Clearsight sees so many potential futures
ok some things to clarify 1. silkwings are not decended from clearsight since clearsight married a beetlewing and beetlewings are the ancestors of silkwings. when queen sequoia tells the legend of the hive in book 13 she also mentions that the beetlewings had flamesilks already back then to fight off the hiveminded bees 2. im pretty sure hivewings do blink (unless they are mindcontrolled) because first of all tui doesnt have to write everytime a dragon blinks, plus im pretty sure it said multiple times that cricket blinked (for example in confusion or to blink away tears or what not) But otherwise, awesome video, i learned many things :) An interesting fact that would be fun to mention is that all dragons probably originate from pyrriah and that beetle wings, silk wings and hivewings originate from rainwings. In book 13 once again, the legend of the hive states that beetlewings had the same powers as hivewings (stingers, poison, etc.) but most common was the power of spitting acid from their fangs. When sequoia mentions this, tsunami flinches, clearly thinking of the rainwings. Tui tried to tell us something by writing that out. Another quote from the legend of the hive was "when the first few dragons arrived in pantala" so that means they must have come from somewhere to get to pantala. Probably Pyrriah :)
Actually glory is 7 but honestly I she's probly 8 which in dragon years is 19. DeathBringer is 13 or as some say he's 11 but probly 13, so since dragons stop rapidly growing at 7 DeathBringer is either 21 or 23, so their is only an 2-4 year difference.
One thing I do want to point out about Glorybringer is that dragon morals are likely different from human ones, not to mention this is practically the dark ages.
You are absolutely incredible. I find it surprising that you make videos with a similar quality to youtubers like biohazardia, moonkitti, or anyone else. You are underrated! Good luck
I don’t think Tui was serious about deathbringer’s age in the Assassin winglet, she must have forgotten it at some point. In book 3 he was described as a dragonet. So I doubt she remember that fact, also Assassin had to make him in his 20’s for plot convenience.
8:22 I actually kind of doubt it's canon-ness. Mainly because their dynamic in the books is more described as them constantly annoying each other without a hint of romance. I know that Tui confirmed that Firefly from Moon's vision was their kid, but A. it was only one possible future, Tui can go back on it without issue if she ever gets to that point in time B. The wiki citation goes to a random Tumblr post (I haven't seen a more reliable source, if you have, please tell me) and C. And even if there is a more reliable source for it, the RainWings still have their mating system that the NightWings could join in on. Thus, Glory wouldn't actually know that Deathbringer is the father of Firefly.
I’m pretty sure that Glory is gonna go back to keeping track of Royal eggs as one of the dragons in the book (the really old one who used to be the proper queen I forgot her name) confirmed that they used to keep track of just Royal eggs also it’s just mudwings who don’t keep track of both parents because there are multiple rainwings like Mangrove and Orchid that are couples and Jambu mentioned something about couples also at least to me Glory and Deathbringer definitely have romantic feelings for each other and it’s also heavily implied in the books
I dont think that the age gap was intentional more likely plot whole. Tui knows about pedophilia and i don't think she would intentionally add pedophilia in WOF just to skip over it.
Im kinda impressed now because I heard 'Barnes and Nobles', and I just went there two days ago to get my Darkstalker Legends and Dragonslayer Legends books- I MEAN TALK ABOUT COINSIDENCE!
I feel you should make a part two. For example: Albatross’s heritage, the othermind (and what it truly is) the history of the second content, what was life like before the scorching, what is the origin of dragon magic, unknown enchanted items (or unknown if enchanted Ex: some of the sandwing items) rainwing history, what is the limits of magic, can magic be restored/reset?, do dragons on the second content have magic?, anything on the beatlewings. Sorry about this being so long, but I feel this needs expanding on!
Hi! I just wanted to inform you that speedwing, or at least a game sharing the same name that was about wings of fire, is still playable on the scholastic’s little known game Home Base. (It’s really fun too)
probably a mix of leve 5 or 6 knew most of the stuff in level 6 except for the seawing wings thing that was cool also knew about the theme song stuff for Qibli
I have a head canon that some sand wing scouts found a dead baby dragonet silk-wing on the beach and brought it bake to burn who skinned it and took its wings. I’m very sad they did not put this in 5 graphic novel.
If Sky is Trans, it's probly because Ren didn't know how to tell the difference, and defulted to male pronouns, which sky then just then acepted it. ... Anywyas, I hate how much sense that makes. It would also explain why Ren got so defensive about Axolotle's pronouns. ... It does not however, explain why the dragons cared about the gender of some random scavenger in the first place, or why said scavenger was barely even a character at all.
I feel like Wren was defensive about it because they were calling Axolotl 'it' as if they were an animal like a cow or sheep rather than one as intelligent as dragons (which is pretty stupid considering they had a talking version of that animal in front of them) which ig is a different kind of incorrect than calling them he or she. I haven't read Dragonslayer in a while so I don't remember if Wren did call Sky he when she first found him but it does make sense now that I think about it (I'm pretty sure Tui said something about Sky not understanding the concept of love if it got brought up to him, so honestly I doubt that he would question pronouns or gender too much. I hc him as going with any pronouns also)
In one of the panatela books when queen wasp released her tribe it said “ blinking and yawning” therefor this makes me believe they can blink or it was a mistake
Oh my gosh, if I did write something uncivil, then I will deeply deeply really really regret it so so so so much that I never felt that regret but, not to be stressed out, as long as I don't do bad things, nothing terrible will happen as long as I don't worry that much but sometimes I could get worried much like people but if I'm also worried that if I did say what I worry about, things will get more complicated as stressing as it is but deep inside I do feel like being a good boy to admit that and also people like me make mistakes but that's ok, we learn from it, we move on and the next time we see it again but learned it from this moment. Hopefully I won't cause anything bad(seems like a fragile oath but a challenge of a test I might try).
8:27 you’re actually incorrect glory is 7 years old with a gap of 6 years between deathbringer. The proof for this is that glory is technically a dragonet stated in the prophecy and in book 14 when snowfall remembers she’s not the only queen that’s still a dragonet. (This isn’t supposed to be rude in anyway I just wanted to share my knowledge on it.)
Also, flamesilks could not be made from clearsight as in the legend of the hive they have flamesilk and that’s how they got rid of most of the breath of evil.
Twins can be born male and female its exceptionally rare but yeah i hope they dont make him trans not really a fan of pandering like that if they want a trans then add another character but he is already insinuated to be male allot so it wouldnt make since
Why not tho? Are you saying that if they want a trans character then they should make that character's only personality trait 'trans' or smth? I also don't doubt that Wren didn't know how to tell (honestly, I wouldn't know how to tell either considering dragons are confirmed to have no sexual dimorphism, despite the narrative immediately being able to tell but I'm not complaining) and she started calling him he and Sky kind of went with it (I doubt that he would care much about his gender or pronouns considering he canonically doesn't understand the concept of love either ig) Like, ik it's just a headcanon and you don't have to go with it but I just don't understand what you mean by 'if they want a trans then add another character' like do you want a character with their entire point and personality of 'being trans'? That's not good representation I'll say 😭
@@birb70 they dont know what love is? what they definitely do know what love is and if sky can instinctually know what dragon language is after not really being around it he can also know what gender it is. The reason it is pandering is because this is a concept specifically to humans and these dragons have zero idea what that would even imply or what the meaning of it is. He could easily be gay or a feminine male which is what allot of people who claim to be trans are hense why they regret doing what they do later on in life. sure there are some who never regret it or any thing but this is all beside the point. These dragons are to busy fighting tooth and claw just to live another day without being killed by humans or another dragon. they don't have time to think about small insignificant things that do not matter to there survival, its honestly a ridiculous notion. the only time in history trans sexual people show up is during peace when there an overwhelming majority of people who lived privileged life style. in the end this is a fairy tale book that the autor is writing and if they want to do it then its up to them but if they start pandering to them being like look how strong and confident they are simply because she says she is a he then im simply out and reading other things. If she says hey sky is trans and he is like sure i am and then they just move on and not put it in the spotlight like its this amazing thing then i will not care in the end and keep reading. the whole meeting the scavenger clan that all identified as them or whatever was already cringy but they only said it and carried on so i ignored it.
Glory is easily the most mature dod and Deathbringer is a good person or dragon he doesn’t seem like the type to take advantage of someone else and they do seem to love each other so who cares if they have an age gap
Ik this was a year ago but it was on page 104, not shown in the graphic novel though I think. It was half of a wing 'unlike any dragon Sunny has seen before', and later confirmed in the guide book that it was a SilkWing wing, though let's say they drowned and only their wing was found ;-;
We dont know how dragon eggs and stuff work so it is possible sky is not trans. I belive he is not trans , by the way. Sorry for any spelling mistakes i am on mobile.
it wouldnt make sense for sky to be trans because in the new book because wren has to remind him about people who go by they/them pronouns correct me if im wrong but i feel like he would know that- (peril could still be though which would still make sense biologically even though she wouldnt be alowed to make that choice concidering scarlet controlls her but still)
I’m sorry I don’t mean to be rude but why are you pronouncing Perils name like that it is not pronounced anything like that Edit: oh also the way the other silkwings made their way over was probably the same was Luna did because if Luna was able to be blown over who says she was the first to have been as there have almost certainly been other storms like the one that caught her
This is a cool video but I will add on to things mentioned

Your art is so cute
She says small artist but she’s amazing, way better than me and I am a dragon drawing machine!
I also don't doubt that Wren didn't know how to tell (honestly, I wouldn't know how to tell either considering dragons are confirmed to have no sexual dimorphism, despite the narrative immediately being able to tell but I'm not complaining) and she started calling him he and Sky kind of went with it (I doubt that he would care much about his gender or pronouns considering he canonically doesn't understand the concept of love either ig)
Like, ik it's just a headcanon and you don't have to go with it but I just don't understand what you mean by 'if they want a trans then add another character' like do you want a character with their entire point and personality of 'being trans'?
Happy birthday :)
Actually, I’m quite fond of that game, because guess what SPEEDWINGS EXISTS AND IS PLAYABLE THERE
I don't really ship glorybringer to the age gap.
just a question, but would dragons care about age? i rlly don’t know and am rlly curious
Happy early birthday!
Hey just saying I’m pretty sure that deathbringer would be 23 in human because you add 5 to 18
great video!!!!
thx!!
Mud wings and sky wings she seems to not like
I find this interesting thanks you for the information your helpful 😀 👍
Happy birthday
Im a big fan so big I have even play the game with the Qibli
I like your drawing
thank you!
Glory is easily the most mature dod and Deathbringer is a good person or dragon he doesn’t seem like the type to take advantage of someone else and they do seem to love each other so who cares if they have an age gap
Where are the strange wings in the fifth book? Is it in the graphic novel? If not, what page number is it on?
Ik this was a year ago but it was on page 104, not shown in the graphic novel though I think. It was half of a wing 'unlike any dragon Sunny has seen before', and later confirmed in the guide book that it was a SilkWing wing, though let's say they drowned and only their wing was found ;-;
Why do I already know most of these facts--
The age gap has been resolved in someone else’s vid, they took info, death bring is younger then 9 the link is in your glorybringer vid
In my opinion glory is 19 in dragon years and deathbringer is 25 it’s a bit weird but it’s fine
quick question: if trans dragons exist, how do they swap genders without the surgeries us humans have?
The animus magic:
5 years for an age gap isn’t bad remember it can be worse 20-30 year or worse 40
theory:deathbringer and darkstalker is the same person. evidence: 8:35
GUI has stated that the age gap was a mistake. Also did you really imply that Deathbringer is going to take advantage of Glory? Come on!
We dont know how dragon eggs and stuff work so it is possible sky is not trans. I belive he is not trans , by the way. Sorry for any spelling mistakes i am on mobile.
Wait did she say PER IL
ITS PRONOUNCED THAT WAY GRR
@@5rcane you can call her whatever you want i just call her something diffrent
8:08
I wanna make an intimation if I could
Yes is good
it wouldnt make sense for sky to be trans because in the new book because wren has to remind him about people who go by they/them pronouns correct me if im wrong but i feel like he would know that- (peril could still be though which would still make sense biologically even though she wouldnt be alowed to make that choice concidering scarlet controlls her but still)
I’m sorry I don’t mean to be rude but why are you pronouncing Perils name like that it is not pronounced anything like that
Edit: oh also the way the other silkwings made their way over was probably the same was Luna did because if Luna was able to be blown over who says she was the first to have been as there have almost certainly been other storms like the one that caught her
accent lol
I love dragons
I don’t like how you say perils name I’m sorry 😭🙏🏽
What game ?
They were flash games on the Schoolastic website
I am ashamed to say it but tht book cover is czech cover and the others look even worse
Who are the three who disliked
ps its pronauced [per il]
peril is pronounced pay-rill not peru
pay-rill? Wouldn't it be 'peh-rill?'
Everyone has talking mistakes. I know it happens to me, just a part of life.
