@@Darksaviour Elidibus fights you twice in bodies equal to the WoL and loses. He lacked the natural affinity for creation magic wielded by Emet Selch and has to resort to trapping you even with support from the shards.
Hoo man, the lead up to the final boss of Shadowbringers got significantly more menacing with this playing over it. The way he just waved his hands a little, dropping the heroes like flies, while not even needing to move to completely nullify their strongest attacks, all the while with our character on the verge of transforming into a Lightwarden... Makes me shudder...
No, actually he went over just as easily in 2.0 with undergeared newbies. It was actually a big relief. The first phase on Ultima was rough though. Those Geocrushes are no joke when you had 1500 HP and Ultima was alive a LOT longer, and a lot fewer healers has THM to 26 for Swiftcast to Raise. People died and wiped on first phase Ultima back the first few weeks the game was public.
They did a better job with him in the Aetherochemical Facility tbf, but in neither case was he at his full power. If he's actually in the raid for 6.0, I suspect he will be at long last. I hope they accompany it with a remix of Thunderer. This game has a pretty big issue in how quickly MSQ stuff is trivialised by gear. I am always flabbergasted by people calling fights like Thordan "epic" these days. It's a shame, because the mechanics fail to do these foes justice.
Endwalker's just around the corner. Better prepare those ears and find out if a new and more heroic rendition of this theme drops somewhere in the MSQ.

Same, doing Praet with music and voice off has the result of making me to forget this even happened like this. That said, I will always associate this song with the ending of Shadowbringers 5.0 MSQ. The aftermath of Amarout gave me chills.
Fun fact. This now plays during the final phase of the Rhitatyn solo instance, as a nod to all the people who'd put UCOB Twintania macros before the fight.
I had no idea this played for Lahabrea. He always died within seconds, even in 2.0... Never got a chance to hear it there. I thought I heard it for the first time in Twintania, even though I had been in Praetorium numerous times before then!
I love this song because it gets used for a decent amount of content but not enough to be annoying, so it brings me back this the shown scene, some notorious boss fights in eureka I love, the other Ascians and God damn fucking sarty in bozja and his dandy fire ass

This will forever be the Twintania Theme for me. I queued for T1 and EX Moogle, and T1 miraculously popped first after "only" 30 minutes or so. We cleared T1, and managed to PF/DF all the way to T5 that night, and even reached the final phase after which time ran out, most of us totally blind and not exactly "savage raiders" at the time.
Thankfully this song plays during Special Achievement FATEs. The ones that only pop up every three days IRL or so. Behemoth Couerlregina Foxy Lady Formidable Archaeotania I may have missed one or two.
No, Lahabrea as you fight him is worn down (and more than that, Hydaelyn intervenes directly in Praetorium to remove him), something Emet confirms and also covered in the short story for Elidibus. We've not seen Lahabrea at his full power. He is on par with Hades at his full power and I expect we will see this in Pandaemonium.

It was easy to me, going back and trying it as a veteran player, but I can imagine him being a wake-up call to new players. Pretty neat! Maybe it helps new player retention, when they see the game can have some challenge compared to most of the ARR MSQ being so easy.

"Holy shit, ok yeah. The payoff is definitly worth it." .... AAAAAAND then there's the post ARR epilogue that goes toward HW.... Fucking crystal brave arc.
Funny enough, it's very similar to what "he" does in P8S too, although it's not Hydaelyn that saves you yhat time. He even uses several of the same attack names from P8 phase 1. It's interesting since they remade his fight around the same time they were developing Abyssos, so they made the fight call-back to this revamped fight in several ways.
As a new player, this theme ended at 1:19. He died too fast thanks to veterans steamrolled him in DF. I'm so disappointed that SE still making joke final bosses but with a pretty long theme such as yu yevon, shuyin, orphan 2 and bhunivelze final phase. Well, all MSQ bosses are too easy for now to me because of DF but that's how it is.
Every time we went to smack Twintania I would just tell my self, "I am the night" then Twiny there would remind me, "No. You're the conflag, now burn."

It's not me you'd need to ask. Square Enix allows use of the music from FFXIV so long as your don't separate the assets (music+gameplay). So if you're planning on making videos on FFXIV then they wouldn't have an issue with it, if you're planning to use it for other purposes then that's not allowed under their usage policy.
Remember when this theme used to be exclusive to the ascians?Now it plays at almost 50% of the notorious monsters in eureka...it really kills the thematic significance of the theme

It's funny since they're both supposed to be paragons but Lahabrea's strength paled in comparison to Emet-Selch's.

Emet-Selch was hands down the strongest Ascian. Think Elidibus was the only one close to his level.

As a new player, this theme ended at 1:19. He died too fast thanks to veterans steamrolled him in DF. I'm so disappointed that SE still making joke final bosses but with a pretty long theme such as yu yevon, shuyin, orphan 2 and bhunivelze final phase. Well, all MSQ bosses are too easy for now to me because of DF but that's how it is.

It's not me you'd need to ask. Square Enix allows use of the music from FFXIV so long as your don't separate the assets (music+gameplay). So if you're planning on making videos on FFXIV then they wouldn't have an issue with it, if you're planning to use it for other purposes then that's not allowed under their usage policy.
