@@michellepalmer6815 Hello again, Michelle! You've been on the pill only less than 2 months, is that right? Well, that's an extreme short time for a cause of a lump from pills. When you went to the doctor who prescribed you the pill, didn't they do an examination on your breasts? It is not imaginable that they didn't. Our best recommendation is to go to a gynecology (OBGYN) specialist to do an exam on you. This will help you to understand if you have a regular benign lump like most women or if it is something more serious. Only a doctor's exam can tell. It is impossible for us to say anything here online. Your best bet is to see a OBGYN specialist to exam your breasts.

Hello Archana, we cannot simply suggest what to do without knowing your medical background and tests, but you can have the fibroadenoma removed for three reasons: 1) to have a peace of mind, 2) to know the pathology and confirm if it is truly Fibroadenoma, and 3) to avoid causing it to you problems later (e.g. it might grow larger and/or causing other issues). Depending on what they've seen, if it is a cyst, the surgeon may use a needle to remove the liquid, but if it is solid, then they'll remove it surgically. In general, fibroadenoma is common in women and it is not malignant (not cancerous), but you want to make sure that it truly is. Our suggestion is the following: 1) talk with your doctor about your concerns and that if he/she can explain you more in detail what to expect, and 2) if still in doubt, get a second opinion from a gynecologist.
