To anyone reading this struggling with body dysmorphia, depression or anxiety in relation to their weight loss journey: Stop. Breathe and allow yourself to be in the moment. Even if you've been "bad with your diet" or just feel like it's hopeless, it's ok. I'm proud of you. Everyday is a new day. Start tomorrow, make it your day 1. It's never too late to start. Time will pass you by regardless, so make the most of it. Start easy. Increase your steps to 8,000 a day, then up to 10,000 a day when comfortable. Calculate your daily recommended calories. Multiply your body weight by 14, and subtract 300-500 calories from that. Those will be the calories you need to eat to lose weight. About 20% should come from fat, the rest from protein and carbs. Make it easy- hit your calorie goals, and protein goals. CARBS ARE NOT THE ENEMY if paired with HIGH PROTEIN foods. These will give you energy and keep you satiated. Fruits and Veggies with EVERY MEAL! 1/2 a banana is 1 serving fruit- contains a lot of sugar. Apples, Watermelons, Berries- all good low glycemic index foods. Blend it with some ice and a scoop of protein powder, almond milk and water (as needed) to make healthy ice cream at home. THis can be your sweet "treat" night cap daily. Start MOVING. Increase your NEAT, and try to exercise with weights 3x/wk for 45 mins. Make this fun, hire a trainer, watch online videos, etc. There are a lot of free resources out there. You can even PM me for FREE workout plans! I'm here to help! We all started somewhere. Make yourself the best version you can be.
Only back training around 6 weeks and finding my rhythm again after 2 very poor years consistency wise. I'm back to 3 days a week currently and gradually breaking PR's on my deadlifts and aiming to break the 200kg mark before the end of October if I stay on track and at 32 with a 60 plus hour work week and with a 3 year old daughter and prepping for twins on the way (still processing that🤣), I'm pretty damn happy with my progress so far! I used to work out back in the days when i was in cuba, then i came over to US and spent 10 years without working out and without any motivation. After i started to watch your videos that motivation came back, i was so skinny that i was at 114lbs at some point and in just 3 months im at 155lbs………… 💪🏼

You sir personify that same look at a statuesque 6"2. Stay the course, relax on the gear, just show them what the work can do. People can't buy that frame and shoulder girdle. I suggest a full solar pv system with enough battery storage for 2-3 days of off-grid power to supple the biggest split heat pump units; say 5-7 3ton/36k tun heat pump units and this would give you the heating & cooling power to make that warehouse comfortable. Add enough led lighting for shooting video solar hot water, 200-300 gallons for showers + washing machines... some refrigeration you'd be setup simply safe security alarm monitoring... bio needs for internet infrastructure... perfect...

Love the old school weights. You don't see straight up metal plates anymore. I always thought they lasted longer than the rubber ones. There's metal in the rubber weights too but after a while they get dropped and the rubber starts coming off.
I do the same exact thing when skull crushers are in my routine. I do them on a flat bench so I do close grip presses with the weight I have. It feels great on your triceps. Highly recommended
