I feel like sometimes the judges don't realise that they might not like a photo because of the styling, location, hair, makeup, composition etc all of which is beyond the models' control. Their actual posing might be good, but the whole thing will look off if the other elements don't work and they automatically blame the girls when this happens. Of course they'd never be able to say this because then they'd be accused of trying to shift the blame :/
I don’t think Nicolas picture was bad at all! I think she looked Beautiful and was smiling . Judges Crazy ! And Kirstys pic wasn’t horrible, it’s just they chose a pic that wasn’t showing her whole face towards the camera! Charlottes was the Best pic In my opinion

The girls: To be honest, I think NTM always tries to push the high fashion. Charlotte was AMAZING this season. Yes, she’s a commercial girl, but she did the best and I think she should’ve gone further (WIN!!!) overall, I really loved this cycle though. I love Tiffany and Alisha. They pulled Joy through because she has a solid look, but she wasn’t great to work with. I loved Amelia, but she wasn’t a natural. Olivia had an exciting look too. I was happy with the winner, but Charlotte did amazingly well this cycle and I think she should’ve gotten it!
I like that Elle sees that it’s Joy’s confidence that needs work - and didn’t just have a go at her. She seems to have had a hard background and it must be hard for her.
one thing i read once......since swimsuit issues need to be published in summer, they are often actually shot in winter, so the photos have time to be processed, edited, and added to the magazine. so models beware, it will most likely always be cold in a swimsuit photo shoot!

I think they had to experience how is it to be booked last minute and instead the chance to pack their luggage at home they had to buy a new things for the road asap (clothes, toothbrush, cosmetics, etc...). They were tested on nerves, showing how dynamic and stressful this bussines is.

I keep waiting for these photo shoots to go more high fashion, but they're just not that impressive. I do miss the judges critiquing the girls style in person. Almost all of them need refining.
Olivia looks like she once had a "normal" face but someone hit her with a frying pan so hard in the face that it flattened out. Her face is just so wide, square and flat it's really unattractive. She might be tall but she looks nothing like a model. I know it's harsh but she just doesn't have the fundamentals, so I don't get why she was there in the first place... I watched this season 10 years ago when it originally aired and was so underwhelmed by it (mainly after cycle 5 which was very good). There were so many filler girls that should have never made it as finalists: Olivia, Harleen, Delita... Production value was low and the opening credit is so tacky and cheap looking. BNTM had a phantasmic opening theme and music from cycle 3 to cycle 5 and it was such a downgrade from that. When the news broke that Elle would be hosting I got excited and thought she would mean an upgrade to the series, but actually it looks like her salary took the entire budget. And these judges as a collective whole is probably the least relatable, likable set of judges I've ever seen in any NTM show. Lisa wasn't a real supermodel but at least she was likable so was Huggy and Luis Mariette. Julian and Grace are just so uptight and cruel for no reason, they are ugly inside and out and Charlie is basically part of the set, he's easy on the eyes (eventhough he's not all that hot) but it's as if he wasn't even there...
what the hell is Grace wearing at the airport? Why did they leave out the commercial with the jewels out of the judging? Pure trying to sweet Joys mess up under the carpet.
Charley is so cute using "smoldering" all the time and crushing on Olivia. Julian and Grace are irritating though, like that "Madonna Borderline" comment from Grace fell flat lol.
It's sad the judges already picked who they think should win so they keep them in the competition. Joy has a very bad attitude which no one talks about and she's beautiful body is amazing, but she's lack luster. Amba is more of a full package
I think they all rocked the bathing suit photos looked Gorgeous but some I think rocked it better than the others! Like they don’t really like Alishas photo when I think they are wrong , they all did the thing but joy she always the same doesn’t look like she wants to be there and can’t be bothered, even to me Nicola did Better than Joy
The bottom line is that with modelling, how you look is the most important thing. Everything else can be learned. That’s why Joy is the most successful post show.
Charlotte doesn't deserve to be there at all, she literally has extremely basic looks and only wins when she has heavy makeup. I've seen 10 other girls that look exactly like her in just this week. Sorry not sorry.
