When doing Bladed Dive around the ritual site, make sure you've changed your settings so you can't target the environment. This is in settings: Settings > Combat & Action Bar > Targeting > Untick the box 'Target scenery with targeted movement abilities'. Learned this from the race stream so people watching this should know too
Very true, will pin the comment as i always forget that option is toggled on by default for whatever stupid reason Jagex thought people would ever want it on lol
There's a new Necromancy setting that makes your outputs automatically go to the input/material box. If you turn that on and do powerful communions with powerful/robust mementos, you will have infinite focus materials and only need to worry about ink. It's only about 2% slower xp/hr(about40-50k) than essence, but you don't have to worry about buying essence. Also, you will get at least 10 skulls from defiles within 36 rituals, so you can use them to lower the frequency of repairs without having to go out and buy candles. Though this last tip is not absolutely necessary, just helpful.
I'd like to add that if you're doing powerful communion rituals with powerful mementos, you'll be getting more mementos from the distractions than you actually use on the rituals. So you only need to input the ink. The offering will be self-sustaining.
I don't know for sure, but it seems like the chance of Defile spawning is much lower at 520% with 2x Multiply 3 and 2x Attraction 3 than it is at 700 with full Attraction 3 + cape. It also seems like at 700 you get very few wanderers and sparkling glyphs as opposed to Defiles and Soul Storms. I can't tell but I'm pretty sure something's different about it. Really wish Jagex would tell us what's going on, because Multiply saves a lot of money.
I'm doing Powerful essence, every time I run out of pure essence I will spend some time crafting Bone runes (it is selling for 1.8k right now) with the essence. This way at 92+ RC you can do 900 Bone runes per ritual (1,620,000 gp) and actually profit from the Powerful essence rituals since every 18 rituals you're making on average 29,160,000 gp
@jameskarrie298 So...? Why does this even matter? I'm showing people a way of doing those rituals without actually losing money, since it is possible to recover it through Rc with the very impure essence crafted through the rituals. I can't see your point.
@@Elunedl I can appreciate these sort of "self-sufficient" money making/recovery methods, but I think the point oftentimes it's better to just take the loss of gp here and then spend the time you would've spent 'recovering' doing another, better money making method.
@@iTwitzHD How so? Crafting bone runes is like 40m gp/hr at 92+, unless you're talking about doing 500+ Zammy solos with about 15 kills per hour, which not many pp can do, it is by far one of the best and easiest money making methods available right now.
I can't wait to get to 90 so I can get some good xp rates like this. 80-90 feels like such a drag getting 370k xp/h killing the same thing over and over again
I just hit 90. Went on abyssal savages in the deep wildy, after camping bound skeletons. I can tell you that the xp/hr of some of these methods are not optimal. Bound skeletons, shadow warrior and so, def not the best for the 80+
the shambling horrors were such a pain before they updated it XD could never see the sparkling lol glad they added that green cloud for it, also great guide :) How's your clue logs going?
I would like to add that necroplasm has been the most profit for the last week or so. Greater necroplasm is more profit than powerful (about 950k profit compared to 920k profit per ritual with multiply 3 no cape). These prices change constantly but they always remained profitable when i checked them. The impure essence is actually a net loss at the moment. Unless you do the powerful ritual, but you won't make much profit (about 20-30k per ritual). If profit is your only concern, making inks is currently more profit per hour. Great video as usual and grats on the 200m the stream marathon was a lot of fun!
Yeah, but just wanted to say about checking as if everyone and their nan does necroplasm, it could end up turning around - so best to check if its different in the future, if you're watching this in a few weeks for example and nobody has been doing essence You definitely do not want to do greater rituals though, as you wont get the defile spawn as it has to be powerful - so its worth getting a little less back for a big xp increase. Unless you're going just for profit, then you would do greater necroplasm with multiply glyphs for monies for sure. And thanks my man :D
Try this out first save layout... then go to settings and set interface settings really high like 175 and click fixed camera setting... its amazing changed how i veiw rituals i really like it
The xp meter is wrong tho cause it only track the last 5 minute, yo need to go to metric->graph to get a better estimate. the higher it can really go is close to 2.2m/h
No, I did 200M and i had the "timer" on. Over a 8 hour period i got 2.9m xp/hr while spamming darkness spell, which would have been a consistent 2.6m xp/hr. You can check my vods on twitch if you don't believe me :) If i wanted to inflate the xp/hr i would have showcased when my xp was 3.1m xp/hr at the 5min mark, but i didn't once reference my xp from runemetrics in this video and it had nothing of relevance. I am not wrong, thanks.
I had to buy ink pretty early, no idea on amounts but they obviously were a ton more expensive during the race. Spent about 5-6b on ink and about 10-15b on runes to spam darkness ability for a little more xp/hr
Since events happen at certain intervals, I thought that just getting to 500% for defiles and using speed for the rest of the glyphs would be faster. But after some testing, I found that doing ALL attraction 3 glyphs was significantly faster, and higher tier randoms spawned much more frequently.
In my testing of 50+ hours of both, it honestly felt no different for me personally with metrics. with speed 2 on cape vs attraction 3 on cape. Will just have to wait to see what jagex say.
@@MaikeruRS I also felt no difference at all, as the metric exp swings were quite drastic with both setups (RNG on events) I do wonder, in my journey to 200m, I never once was able to sustain 2.7m/hr. I capped out at 2.55m/hr...
