You should try to get the Nano Plus as well. I have seen some footage of it that it look better than the Lite and Mavic 3. Just amazing! See this video ruclips.net/video/7uHXpxlwuYU/видео.html but he should have film in 30fps. 24fps just destroys this amazing image.
@@808-Stat3 I know! that is from a small drone. The Huge problem people keep making is filming in 24fps. It destroys the usability. Thanks so much for this Review! I ordered the Autel Evo Lite Plus from B&H Photo on Sunday. Had to order as a pre-order, but it was only $1349 (standard package). Just happen to check today (March 1, 2022) and the Premium Package ($1649) is IN STOCK!!!! Your reviews are always well done!!! Thanks again!!!
Really enjoyed the video. Really like the music. Well done review. Been sitten on the fence for a long time for my first drone. Another plus for this drone is no geofencing. Lets the operator be an actual pilot and obey the rules of the air.
I believe you were in Program Mode when you were showing the example of the exposure changing. P mode is like automatic mode, but it allows you to change the aperture, shutter speed and ISO while the camera automatically changes the other parameters of the exposure triangle to maintain a proper exposure. If you put it in Manual mode (M), you should be able to hold your desired settings. You will also get those automatic exposure changes in shutter priority (S) or aperture priority (A) as well, whenever the light changes. Try the M setting and see if that works. I just got an Evo Lite+, too, my very first drone! So far, I’m really liking this bird. Great video!! Love your channel!!
P is for program M for manual which still automates the EV (exposure value) . S is for shutter priority it switches aperture into automatic mode and A is for aperture mode which switches the shutter value into auto mode . I don't have full auto yet. I tried everything. In my video it is reflected by the modes switching colors into yellow and the automated value grey out and are not adjustable . Sometimes I know what I doing ;) thanks for trying to help me out ;) appreciate u. Aloha
@@808-Stat3 That's weird, manual says.. Manual mode (M gear): ISO/Shutter/Aperture is adjustable, EV is not. But that makes sense as depending on how you expose the scene EV would vary it could be 0 or plus or minus. But are you saying that in Pro Man Mode if you change the Aperture the Shutter Speed also changes or Vice Versa to try and achieve a 0 EV? You should be able to change any of those and the others (except for EV) stay put. Maybe this is an upcoming firmware change. If it's changing the other setting Aperture or Shutter Speed in Man mode it's not manual so can see why you are concerned. But why would they have a Manual Mode?? Must be a bug...
@@808-Stat3 I took my Evo Lite+ up for a quick flight after work. Shooting at 24fps, The ND16 allowed me to keep my shutter speed at 1/50 and my aperture at f4. I typically keep my aperture at f2.8 or f4 and use the necessary ND to hold those settings while keeping the lowest ISO possible. These were my full manual settings that did not change until I changed them myself. I was filming under the Pro Mode with Manual (M) selected. I just wanted to give you a follow up on my previous comment. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and experiences!

@@808-Stat3 Had a couple of covid scary moments but all is well. Thank God for vaccination. Glad you like the new Elite drone. If I wanted to get one, I have to sell my DJI FPV drone or Skydio2. Maybe the FPV. LOL!
I have already ordered and I am waiting for it. In my opinion, Autel should do the following very quickly: 1. Offer all the features that E26k has (10bit, dlog, waypoints, etc). 2. With all these features and the specific price, it will DOMINATE the market and will "crush" the entire DJI's drone series (AIR2S & MAVIC3). 3. Prepare the EVO 3, which has been announced in advance.
Got mine a couple of days ago, have used it in a personal project and for two clients. So far I am very disappointed at this drone and I am hoping that Autel pushes an update to make this more usable. It is a viable alternative to a Mavic, and I love that, but the software needs to catch up. Why wouldn't Autel use the other app that the Evo 2 pro uses?
I am working on it but to make it plain and simple . NO . In my eyes as of this time it's NOT an upgrade. More like an alternative that is nearly as good but doesn't quiet reach it. It's ALMOST there but not really .. if you know what I mean .
The Lite+ is an improvement in some areas like low light but lacks in others like no DLOG. Honestly, if you have the Evo II Pro 6K already, don't purchase it unless you want to shoot a lot at night. Outside of that, I'd just wait for the Evo III.
I am thinking about grabbing one. I am sure they have the firmware team and SKY App team will be pressured to add features and fix bugs. I hope they fix the need for the firmware to be installed for each battery.
Good music and video. I've had probably 5 firmware updates in the 2 weeks I've had it. It changed the options of the double click button taking away the light on off option. My drone drifts left, video lag bad and hopefully it doesn't flyaway like my evo 2 did 🤞🤑
Thanks for sharing If it drifts badly I would recommend to do a thorough IMU calibration after doing a compass cal and then do a gimbal calibration. My drifts went away after that. Ensure there is no metal objects around and that your drone is on a perfectly level surface during IMU.

Poor decisions resulted in the unfortunate destruction of my beloved Evo 2 Pro on my last trip to Colorado a couple weeks ago. I was able to pull some stunning videos but quickly had to pivot to a backup Air 2 (not the S) to finish out the trip. I am trying to decide if I should upgrade and go towards a more professional drone like an Inspire 2 (or 3 if its being released soon w/the X8), or sticking with the E2P as the primary and buying a reliable backup that can keep up with the E2P. If I went this route, I would either buy a refurbished E2P, because I have all the accessories I need for this drone, or investing in the Nano+ w/the 1" sensor. Considering the Refurbished E2P and the new Nano+ are about the same, and the fact you love your E2P and now are flying a Nano, what are your thoughts? Would you consider a Nano+ as a backup or go with a refurbished E2P as a backup? My issue with the Air 2 was the ability to climb a mountain was limited to 1,650ft. Standing next to a mountain, I should be able to crest it if I am within 400feet of the mountain. The DJI drone simply would not. You will see in this part of the video: ruclips.net/video/cnFOFoILi6Y/видео.html was only possible because the E2P is a beast and can climb a mountain. The Air 2 could not even crest the same ridge when I went back for another shot after my E2P suffered its fate. Would the Nano+ be able to? This is the question. Whatever I purchase as a primary or backup to my E2P needs to be able to perform as well or better. Thanks for the advice/thoughts - feedback is appreciated. Stay safe
