Emily The Criminal is one of 2022's most overlooked movie. Aubrey Plaza gave the best performance of her career in that movie. If you haven't seen it, you should, it's absolutely great. I wish there was a better studio to market that movie
It was great. It should have ended with an FBI Agent named Burt Macklin catching and arresting her.

Aubrey Plaza is such an enigma and truly one of a kind. I recently discovered her work and just can’t get enough of watching her interviews. I think what fascinates me is she breaks all social conventions especially for a celebrity…she’s anxious, confident, awkward but hilarious all at once. You never know what she’s thinking and what’s real or not

absolutely one of the most underrated actresses out there! she killed it in twl and emily the criminal and deserves the praise and accolades!! her facial expression at 2:58 looks so genuine and sweet, in taking it in here. would be awesome to see her get an oscar in the near future!

I’m a long time fan of Aubrey Plaza and I’m very happy for her success! Not having guns in Emily the Criminal made it even more thrilling. It was more real and less predictable. When guns start firing I usually take a bathroom break.
halfway through ETC, it hit me -- the absence of guns. it made it even more suspenseful & creative. loved that movie. & love AP! she was outstanding in ETC.
I love Aubrey! She was so great as Cat Adams on Criminal Minds which isn’t a role that I see mentioned often of hers. It was great.

I’ve noticed that Aubrey’s been serving some real sartorial savvy lately. Her outfits are always on point.
I think because she has been spending so much time in Italy, the style is rubbing off on her.
I assume the more popular the celebrity the more access they have to the best stylists, and brands offering clothing… whoever she is with right now is having a blast dressing her.

One of the things I love about Severance is its thrilling without a single gunshot the whole season. I wish there was more thrillers that took this approach. Thankful that this movie does.

Emily the Criminal was so smart and nuanced. It is so difficult to capture the inner strength of the character without making it insultingly obvious or obscuring and hidden. Everyone had the same vision. I was really a fan of Aubrey (not really on a first name basis…lol) as a producer. I really am looking forward to future projects she will produce.
