So hysterically funny! I lived through those days (I was 14 when this song came out in September of 1975) and this was one of my favorites of the Bee Gees. I miss those days of fun and dancing and no social media, phones, GPS and computers (other than a phone landline).

Jimmy totally overdoes it in my opinion but we can't all be perfect. I never laughed the first time but was thoroughly entertained. A lot of people are not nuanced enough to see that SNL is a variety show that happens to be funny sometimes, other times, its just entertainment and criticize it too harshly because they are expecting side splitting humor. Bandwagoning and bashing SNL for personal expectations of first class comedy is a dead road. It is what it is and if it happens to make someone chuckle, hey it's a win for everyone.
