I have the first one and it is garbage - I'm not sure where all the positive reviews came from. It seems like more of the same for the second version... Loose upper, stiff midsole, clunky... It's like we're trying so hard to like it and review it well because it looks good or because its On - I'm not sure - but it doesn't sound like this one is any different than the first. My biggest gripe is the tongue... it's not padded.... On a high stack daily trainer. What? So because of the loose upper and heel contour, you have to crank it down to get lock, which makes the top of your foot hurts for anything longer than an hour because... the tongue isn't padded. The cloudmonster - just like every other running shoe from On - is a hard pass. They don't let you leave reviews on their webiste or return anything past 30 days. Real running companies do. I could give credit to the cloudsurfer but it only lasts 250 miles before the cushion and outsole are gone and is wildly unstable.
these are really new criticisms I've never seen before. not saying your claims are invalid but especially with ON not being one of the top brands rn I don't see why so many of their reviews would be fake/biased. I just ordered the cloudmonsters 2 and maybe I'll see some of ur observations while running but it's interesting ig
