These are great units and block pain really well. I’d recommend them to anyone. The part of my screen that displays battery strength just stopped lighting up but otherwise it’s still functioning well after many year of regular usage. Go Magic Massage!
Great video you show the real world of electronic repair as it doesn’t always go the way you wish it would. Ps I can think of a couple of uses for this tens unit however my wife wouldn’t go for it LOL.
A good drop of epoxy glue between the USB connector and the board would help here a lot and increase the lifetime of the new connector :) Some flux while soldering back the battery would help as well ;) The narrating was very well in my opinion, no need to explain yourself and ask for excuses!
Txs I really appreciate it. And yeah, great suggestion about the glue. I didn't in this case because I was concerned about it just pulling the foil up if it dislodged. What I did instead but didn't show apparently was use a glob of thick caulk like epoxy between the top of the connector and the case. It will peel off if needed but dries hard. Helps hold it in place. Used it many times with good luck.
Nice fix, that’s a nice little unit! Mine is quite big but offers an excellent signal, it seems to have less pinching and hot spots for some reason, wonder if the circuit work different.
Always love close up PCB repair vids!

Nice job.
Hi I own a tens unit, it turns on but nothing shows up any ideas
The diagnosis was good.
The more I try to improve my soldered items the worse it gets.
