The examples of the plates that is from in the video starting from the time 3:00 minutes....are they red green detection plates or blue yellow detection plates?
They are a mixture of plates. The plates that have symbols in shades of red are examining different red-green deficits while the plates that show symbols in different shades of blue are examining blue -yellow deficits.
@@usydphysiology1017 aren't the plates shown from the time stamp 1:10 minutes to 1:20 minutes blue yellow plates?? I'm talking about the platss from 3:00 minutes to 3:15 minutes.....are those red green or blue yellow plates??.
I've takes this test & it said I had both mild deutan & tritan. *I was born with deutan and acquired tritan later in life resulting from an automobile accident from a BTI. So, I'm both B/Y and R/G CVD. {Wow!!!}
Hi Shaun, no I haven't made a video like that myself and I haven't seen one on that topic. But you're right that would be an interesting topic and would help to show normal sighted folks what various colour vision deficits look like. I will look into doing something like that. In the mean time, I do have another video where I show a web site which simulates colour vision deficits. You can go to that web site and upload your own photos and then try different colour deficits to see what the image would look like to a person with that deficit. Is there a video on which colors each deficiency sees? Which ones overlap? Which colors they can't see?
