Angela the dress is beautiful and you have a way to make everything looks amazing, and remember, things are not old fashion anymore, people is paying a lot of money for Vintage garments and your has a little of the Glamour of the 50's, you are actually wearing something that is so In Fashion right now.

If I asked my husband what I should wear he would say a mini skirt. I am 75. 🙂Love your dress I am in “don’t ask dad camp”. Plan your trip around fabric shops.

E best new fashions are nods to the best fashions from the past. That dress is a modern take on a vintage style and hubby just doesn't know it 😉. You look fabulous in it so don't ask him again. He'll come round when he sees others react to you wearing it.

It's a lovely dress, I wouldn't have the nerve to have a slit quite that high, but I am older than you are. I truly LOVE the neckline. The flight suit is cute! Your husband is a good sport!

The Estelle dress is gorgeous, I’ve got one cut out in a teal stretch velvet, just need time to sew it together. I always ask my daughter first for her opinion. You need to add in to your road trip fabric shops x

The dress is stunning, classy not old fashioned, and I love the flight suit too. I don’t expect John knows that ever is on trend. If you need any local recommendations for Scotland let me know. We’re about 45 minutes from Dundee. If you have time I’d definitely suggest visiting St Andrews. 😊

Over the summer when my hair grew back after chemotherapy it grew in white. It is now mostly very dark with some .blonde growing in and still lighter over face. Believe me, your hair looks great :0)

I've had the week before Christmas off work, so while having my morning tee, I've watched you and Karen. Sharing advent calendars for each other is such a fun thing to watch. I think i will try to do that for my 2 besties for next Christmas. Maybe also for the hubbie and grandkids. It looks like you are feeling better. My husband had something similar and he was feeling awful for over 3 weeks. The doctor said it was just a nasty virus going around. Luckily I had it slightly, and only for a couple of days. I live in Canada and mostly watch British vloggers, I think it's because the accents remind me of my English grandmother and Welsh granddad. I've only found a few Canadian vloggers, Janine Sews, and another young lady from Toronto, but i can't remember her name. I love that your entire family joins you in filming, so fun. P.S. the faux jumpsuit and blue velvet dress look stunning, you have the legs for a high slit for sure. I laughed about the old lady comment, I'm 65 and definitely don't dress like an old lady.

Gorgeous dress the colour and style looks amazing. I must admit in taking pleasure using my husband for before and after reactions. He always looks dubious when he finds me parading in unfinished items and then when it’s finished he is (or acts) suitably impressed. Lol😂

Yes hopefully - the idea is to to a sewing retreat possibly and spend one week travelling visiting places on the way to Scotland and a week coming down the other side of the UK.

Your dress looks great Angela. It’s classy and very sexy and you look amazing in it! My husband’s view over my ‘me makes’ always makes me doubt them too. He’s very honest which is great, but he doesn’t always like anything a bit different. But hey, just know that you look great. And when we get to a certain age, most of us have a little help in the grey hair department. It makes us feel better and there’s nothing wrong with that. 😄

The blue dress is gorgeous. Sometimes my husband can't see the vision until it is finished and I have fully accessorized the outfit. I bet once you get into some slinky heels and get dolled up your husband will change his tune. It's super sexy and looks fabulous on you.
