Excellent video. Replaced both my batteries tonight and the FOBs are working great. looked at several other videos on this subject before reaching yours; your video was the only one with just the right amount of detail.
Thanks Bob. So glad to help out.
There is no way I would've been able to do this without your help, THANK YOU!
Perfect - thank you! Replaced the FOB battery in a relative's 2009 Camry thanks to your instructions!
Success. Your video was close enough to show the steps to redo the battery on the key fob on my 2016 RAV 4. Thanks alot.
Thank you very helpful. Appreciate your time to put this on the internet. The Toyota manual is so hard to look up.
Glad it was helpful! Yes, they keep their secrets.
Excellent video. Easy to follow.
Good video. To the point. Thanks. Note though that battery for my identical looking 2011 corolla
fob was CR2025.
Same for mine, 2013 Toyota Corolla LE. Glad I didn't buy the battery before checking!
Quick, no nonsense. Perfect.
Glad to help.
GREAT VIDEO! Be careful inserting battery not to touch buttons! Managed to set off the car alarm!

Cheers mate, very easy to follow and job done.
Thanks Spike Jones.
Perfect except my battery kept popping out, (yes I had the proper battery) dang that springy spring and those itty bitty teeny weeny TABS, ughhhhh. Finally messed with the spring enough to get it to hold. Now its working great. Thanks!
Glad it worked out well.
You can actually use a screw bit rather than a screwdriver. It'll give you more leverage and prevent injury to your hand
Thanks so much, solved my problem
glad to help out.
thank you .
Thank you so much!
Glad to help.
I'm guessing the CR2016 battery is for a 2007 Toyota Camry fobkey
I did this and replace new battery and didn’t see the light on.
I have a 2010 Toyota rav4.
Is same battery 2016?
I am not sure Wanda, but if your key looks the same I'd suggest just popping it open. The battery will have the replacement number stamped on it.
Ok Thanks I'll check
Men don't wear gloves, except on sharp objects. This is a skill replacement.
No Paul, men jab screwdrivers into their hands and laugh about it.
Thnx
My key light is blinking but still not working
@@salmazaidi3781 The issue is with unit in the car and not the key fob. Check the fuse box.
Everyone! Stop stabbing yourself! The outer case and inner battery holder is designed to open with a dime coin! I believe the manuals for my Toyotas even specify this.
You’re welcome!
AMAZING content. you are amazing. Please visit rav4world forum and contribute your valuable content.
Thanks
Millennial alert - Needs to "research" (I guess a minute or two of reading is now called research) and a glove to use a screwdriver.
