Excellent video. Replaced both my batteries tonight and the FOBs are working great. looked at several other videos on this subject before reaching yours; your video was the only one with just the right amount of detail.

Success. Your video was close enough to show the steps to redo the battery on the key fob on my 2016 RAV 4. Thanks alot.

Good video. To the point. Thanks. Note though that battery for my identical looking 2011 corolla
    fob was CR2025.

Same for mine, 2013 Toyota Corolla LE. Glad I didn't buy the battery before checking!

Perfect except my battery kept popping out, (yes I had the proper battery) dang that springy spring and those itty bitty teeny weeny TABS, ughhhhh. Finally messed with the spring enough to get it to hold. Now its working great. Thanks!

You can actually use a screw bit rather than a screwdriver. It'll give you more leverage and prevent injury to your hand

I'm guessing the CR2016 battery is for a 2007 Toyota Camry fobkey

    Is same battery 2016?

I am not sure Wanda, but if your key looks the same I'd suggest just popping it open. The battery will have the replacement number stamped on it.

@@salmazaidi3781 The issue is with unit in the car and not the key fob. Check the fuse box.

Everyone! Stop stabbing yourself! The outer case and inner battery holder is designed to open with a dime coin! I believe the manuals for my Toyotas even specify this.
    You’re welcome!

Millennial alert - Needs to "research" (I guess a minute or two of reading is now called research) and a glove to use a screwdriver.
