I paint with watercolor but you really amaze me how fast you paint and how phenomenal result you get in super fast time.Honestly you are much more talented then wast majority of oil painters 7,18k subscribers for what you are doing to help others learn to paint is a shame for youtube algoritm you should have 1milion.Thank you for sharing your content Stephen i will continue to watch even tho i don't paint with oils you are still brilliant artist.
Hello Predrag.. thank you so much my friend ..i really appreciate everything you say.. why dont you try oil painting. Its easier than you think.......i once did have 30,000 subscribers but my channel was hacked and i lost it all. I had to start all over again.. it was very hard to deal with that but i kept going... its climbing again slowly but i dont mind. My goal is to teach painting in a fun way and i love it...... thank you my friend and happy painting...
@@EasyOilPainting Hello Stephen.I tried it 2 years ago but because i had breathing problems when i was a child up until age 15, turpentine and other mediums really makes oil painting impossible for me.So i choose watercolor just because mediums oil painting needs but it's still the most respected medium in the world. That is to bad i was really asking myself how is it possible that someone who paints and 1 hour superb art honestly i am still mind blown how fast you paint and how much depth, perspective and realism you have ,can have 7k subscribers i wish you luck to go back again to 30k and even to 1 million you deserve it honestly.I can't stop watching your art last few hours skies are amazing, stormy sea perfect, birds also, castles i mean i can go on and on and on overall i feel your art and your art speaks 10000000 words to me when i watch it so thank you so much for being able to project your talent and emotions onto the canvas.God bless you Stephen thank you my friend for answering, it is a privilege to watch you paint.
Wow, such a lovely painting and informative lesson. You successfully translated all of the most beautiful bits of that photograph into a clear, step-by-step process that even beginners like me can follow along with. Thanks a million, Stephen, your contributions to the art community mean so much!
Love cliffs & grasses ,really enjoyed your technique & flick of brush for grass, once again Stephen you make it look so simple wish I could paint like you.Much nicer that the picture once again.love the entire painting. Carrots for people what a marvellous tip....thank a million.
I love it I love the detail:) I’m pretty sure the person is going to be very happy to have your painting on the wall :) thanks for this tutorial and god bless you always:) have a wonderful weekend
Looks great very well done. Stephen do you ever use a credit card to make rocks and cliffs? Keep up the great job it’s a joy to watch and learn from you🙏🏼☘️
I’m struggling to get my paint mix right, I use linseed oil to thin it but I’m still using too much paint. I prime and sand my canvas twice so I know it’s a smooth surface, I’m getting quite frustrated. Can you advise me please on where I’m going wrong
Hi Debbie.. are you using any turpentine? You need turps mixed with linseed...the linseed on its own will be very oily and thick thus using lots more paint.... what type of paints are you using? Try to use good quality paints if you can...
Stephen Conway Oil Painting hi I use good quality paints I’ll definitely try the turps as well thank you. Your work is amazing and it always inspires me to pick up my brushes. Thanks
VERY BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPE
