Spectacular Stephen. Thanks for sharing your precious talent. This will be my next one. Wish me luck ! I am positive everyone who watch your tutorials is learning a lot! Big thanks 🙏
Such a beautiful tutorial! I do remember the first time you painted this and I really enjoyed this time too! I loved the reflections and all the little details of the church. 🙂💚💙💜
Recently discovered your channel and watching this and realised that your mama passed the same time mine did. Hope your doing ok, I know how difficult it is. I miss my lovely mama so much and trying to fill the whole in my heart is a struggle every day. My heart goes out to you. Watching these amazing paintings coming to life really helps. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. Stay strong 💕💕💕
Hi Stephen you did a wonderful job with this beautiful scene. I have seen this very scene painted in watercolour and acrylic and now in oils, you are indeed blessed to live in such a beautiful place. Until next time take care and stay safe my friend.
This is totally awesome. I just finished this painting with acrylic and I really like it. Your tutorial is really helpful for a beginner like me and your kind personality gives it a spark. Thank you ☺.
Another life like painting it's the little finishing touches that make it realistic it's great to see you back look forward to watching more videos 👍👍👍👍
I've been trying a few of your painting videos and love your color choices. I ordered your brushes and wondered how long before they are shipped to the US? Looking forward to using them for my next painting. Im going to try this one.
Great painting Stephen; quite lovely and wonderful colour use. With not wanting to be critical you've obtained a similar result to me in that your building looks brand new. The roof looks as if it was laid a week ago and the walls have all been repointed and scrubbed. I always have difficulty trying to age them but nearly always use a smudge of green, ochre and/or umber on a finger tip to get a more weathered look to the building. You have a rugged, bucolic countryside with a newly built, squeaky clean piece of architecture in its heart. Just a dab of dirt here and there MAY give it more realism. Just my thoughts mate; as I say, I have the same problem. NB:- A tear two for mum every now and then is good for the soul and your health; never bottle things up. I'm looking forward to your next painting mate, Warmest regards Nick Harvey
I don't have cobalt blue but have ultra marine, so I have to use that which I have , thank goodness I have napels yellow. It is a good color for mixing
Beautiful, my friend. I loved this the first time..and again now. Stephen, do you think that some time in the future we could some ruins ? No rush, just a request for down the line. Thank you so much. Glad you a continuing to heal. Sending love and light...💙💙💙👏👏👏👏😄😄😄
I was horrified to hear about you mum! You’re in my prayers!! Thank you for doing this beautiful painting, I aim to try it for myself! Love you dude! I’m a fan for life!
i yust don´t get it that you can´t see the exactly outer forms of that church, the roof to less steep, door to low, hills to high. Colour matching to the roof in the beginning needed more yellow with white.
I see that also Maurice and i did fix all those little things ....however its a painting not a photo.. i dont mind that its not exactly the same... thats what makes it a painting... as long as its fun to do then thats all that matters...or course we can all improve our work but thats an individual learning process.. i do thank you for the advice Maurice..
