Really all I need is a lifetime supply of 10mm sockets in 3/8s drive and 1/4 inch drive. Long sockets and short sockets. Impact sockets and chrome sockets. Just a lifetime supply of those.
A few days ago I was helping a stranded motorist.
Her car shut off on her while she was driving.
I went through every system under the hood.
Starting, charging, electronics, transmission fluid, oil, serpentine belt, timing belt, etc etc you get the point.
No check engine light, no other warning lights. Nothing.
The only problem I found was an extremely loose positive battery terminal.
Also, the strap holding the battery in place wasn’t even installed all the way. It was just laying down in between the battery and the air box intake.
PS this was a 2003 Ford Focus Hatchback.
Any who, the battery terminal required a 10 mm socket. I carry a slew of tools in my Jeep.
I carry enough to fix pretty much any issue that you could encounter on the side of the road or on the trail.
    Long story short.
While looking for this infamous 10 mm socket, I found a 9 mm, 8 mm, 6 mm and an 11 mm socket both in 3/8’s and 1/4 inch drive. I found the fountain of youth; I found out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop.
I found the meaning of life, who the real killer of JFK is and where DB Cooper ended up.
6 months later, hiking through the Himalayans and then to the top of Mount Everest.
I found the damn 9 mm socket again.
    Moral of the story.
    Heck I don’t even know.
I’m still looking for the stupid f***ing 10 mm socket. 😂

I'm interested to see how the Teng tools hold up, even though most of his cars probably won't require the stress testing of a tool lol, you got some pretty dahm clean cars Rob

Those tool management cases are amazing but I have had more tools than that at 16😂😂 I'm 20 now and it's safe to say that I need more space because I have too much stuff.

Cordless, electric tools should be on your top priorty list... along side that, a huge airsystem, as allot of your shop equiptment will need air and air tools, IMO.

My dream is to own one of those 1001 piece Teng Tools tool chests. I'm always getting stuck with my limited amount of tools. I just want one box that has it all.
